Serves meat, vegan options available. A breakfast/brunch restaurant with high ceilings and warm sepia tones. A huge outdoor deck with heaters and plants. Breakfast menu is vegetarian and vegan (apart from a roll). Menu items include bircher muesli made with chia and coconut water and served with coconut yogurt, African baked beans, seasonal fruit salad, breakfast bruschetta with spinach, avocado and mushroom and more. Will happily adapt most vegetarian menu items to be vegan. Coffee is made with Bonsoy. Kitchen is divided - any meat is cooked on the opposite side. Removed from HappyCow due to poor veg options, Sep 2014.

disappointing

While breakfast might cater for vegans as per the previous review, this was NOT my experience. The only menu item that was identified as being vegan was the bowl of olives. When asked, they did offer to modify a vegetarian dish (read take out the main cheese component), charged at the same price mind you! Very disappointing, I will not return anytime soon.

Cons: lack of variety, expensive

absolutely delicious!

I have eaten at 'Breakfast at Vicinity' on multiple occasions now. The African baked beans are so tasty! They have a beautiful coconut water soaked Super Bircher Bowl that I loved and I can't wait to try the breakfast bruschetta when I go back.

I mentioned I was vegan and I was assured that the kitchen was separate (half omni, half vegan) and the waitress fully understood my questions and had great answers to them. Even the barista was on point with pulling out the Bonsoy as soon as we said 'vegan'.

Lovely team, lovely place to eat and a great breakfast menu! I hope lunch and dinner menus follow suit

Pros: vegan options , veg options, beautiful restaurant

Cons: lunch and dinner menus have little vegan/veg optio
