Disappointing - Edit
We had booked in for afternoon tea specifically because the website clearly advertised a vegan option. However, when we arrived, we were told they did not have any of the necessary items available and that we should have informed them in advance. This would have been absolutely fine, if that had requirement been mentioned anywhere at the point of booking. It was not.
Read moreWhat followed was, frankly, a very disappointing scramble to find something suitable from the main menu, which offers extremely limited vegan choices. The options felt like an afterthought: a basic tomato pasta, with the audacity of an extra £3 charge just to add a small portion of vegetables, and a cheese-less pizza that lacked both creativity and substance.
To make matters worse, the menu itself is poorly labelled and confusing. A halloumi dish was marked with a vegan symbol, which is simply incorrect. The dessert menu had no dietary labelling at all, and staff gave conflicting information: one told us there were no vegan desserts, while another insisted the brownie was vegan. This lack of clarity does not inspire confidence.
Overall, the experience felt disorganised and misleading. Advertising a vegan afternoon tea without clearly stating any need for advance notice, and then failing to provide it, sets expectations that simply are not met. Really disappointing from start to finish.
Pros: The cocktails were good
Cons: No vegan afternoon tea , Disorganised staff , No clear labels

Nice brunch - Edit
Menu has clearly marked vegan options, including a vegan breakfast and hummus and scrambled tofu toast. I asked for a feta avocado toast to be veganised and they removed the feta for me. My partner made his own brunch using the side dishes (toast, vegan sausages, a big portion of avo and a hash brown). They have soy, almond and oat milk for drinks. Fairly pricey.
