Serves meat, vegan options available. An urban juke joint and neighborhood restaurant located in the basement of a downtown historical building. Serves a unique style menu, showcasing local cuisine, including vegan choices and others that could possibly be made vegan upon request. The head chef can also come out and discuss possible vegan items with you, including desserts. As of Dec 2019, vegan items included the aubergine & greens sammie (ask for no cheese), the winter root bowl and a miso ramen. Reported closed October 2022.

Wonderful!!!

Amazing! 😋 If you haven’t been there, please do yourself a favor and stop in for a delicious meal. They also have vegetarian and vegan options. My sister and I are vegan and share the Auberguine & Greens Sammie w/o the Gov’t Cheese and the Winter Root Bowl. Both very tasty!! For dessert they offered us a vegan option that was not on the menu. My description will not do it justice, but I will give it a shot. It was a banana in an egg free egg roll wrap, fried, with chocolate sauce and PB2 (peanut butter powder). I am sure there were other flavorings that I missed, but it was delicious!! Thank you Boriken, for the awesome experience.!Not only is the food great, but so is the staff and the atmosphere! ❤️👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼❤️
