Wonderful 100% vegan cafe!! - Edit
Been meaning to head to Bonita cafe for some time as it's highly rated on here! It's quite a lengthy trip for me using the BTS but it was all worth it!
Read moreThe staff and the owners of this cafe really make the whole experience, super friendly! Being a runner it was great to meet the owner K and his partner Neung. Having heard about his amazing endurance feet of running across the US in 2015 covering 5026 km's along route 66. I found myself reading a sample of his book about the run whilst I had my food. Really interesting and difficult to put down so I ended up buying the book before leaving.
Food was really nice, massive menu that is very varied. I went with the Club sandwich and the cheese cake for dessert and it was great, super tasty! Protein shake and coffee was also spot on, all reasonably priced.
The interior is really welcoming and you can even check out some running gear which is available to buy.
Really recommend this place and I'll certainly be back for sure!
Nearest BTS Station is Surasak and then you have a 10 minute walk. Google map location is accurate.

Cozy vibe, good coffee, and delicious homecook meals! I love spending my time here! P'Nueng is one of the nicest people I've met. When you spend money here, you know your money will go to feed real nice and caring people, who also take care of several stray cats! 🐱🐱🐱

The dessert-options and cafes were so good. It’s all home made and and delicious. The vibe of the place is very cozy, i didint feel like leaving.

when i first walked into this spot i had no idea that i was stepping into one of the most special spaces i would ever have the privilege of experiencing. the interior feels like an extension of a family’s living room, with cozy antique furniture, ornaments and decorations; their accomplishments and awards are scattered over the walls and on shelves. you can instantly tell they are veterans in the restaurant game, from the way everything is meticulously and purposefully organized, to the extensive menu, offering a multitude of dishes for every occasion one could think of - at just over 8 years running the restaurant, the team of 3, pi neung, pi pauleen and K know what theyre doing, and they do a very good job. pi neung and pi pauleen’s hospitality and personalities are some which i will never forget, they took care of me and fed me everyday for months, and always had funny stories to share or advice to give. with all the cats that pi neung takes care of (2 who stay inside with her and K, and around 7 who Live on the porch of the restaurant) i eventually grew to be fond of cats and when i fostered cats of my own, she helped potty train them, and would give me tips and tricks, and make me the best food. pi pauleen has a beautiful and bright energy, she is always happy to see you and she makes some incredible thai food. and K, an accomplished runner and chef taught me some running techniques i will likely use forever, and made some of the best food ive ever eaten in my Life.

are you a fan of pancakes/waffles? full english breakfast? beautiful perfectly done fries? hot dogs? burgers? nutritious vegetable soups? one of their best sellers is the ‘nam tok’ which is a salad from isan, thailand, it is simply phenomenal and a must try. their cheesecake is also a fan favorite. pretty much every menu item is though. their club sandwich is huge and incredible. their smoothies, which are available in banana, chococlate, beet and spinach are all also amazing. there is truly something for everyone at this gem of a restaurant, i didnt even list half of their menu and they are very accommodating to diet restrictions.
because of the pandemic, they have not been seeing the tourist traffic they are used to, so please, if you are ever in the area, stop by and tell them matthew says hi.

A charming and relaxing cafe/social club split over 2 floors on a quiet back street. Seating upstairs for larger parties with books to browse and a good range of vibram 5 finger style running shoes.

The establishment select quality ingredients with a health focus. Food presentation is good and if you appreciate the home cooked experience, this venue is well worth a visit.
The rice and curry was excellent as were the “hot dogs”. Pizza was nothing special but still pleasant. Smoothies were not packed with ice or syrup, just good quality fruit. Pancakes are also excellent, fluffy and not greasy plus they seem to have flax in them! The ice cream is also well worth a try, we had the chocolate mocha and peanut butter, both were intensely flavoured.

Hi everyone! I found Bonita after finishing my quarantine in Bangkok. I absolutely loved my delicious club sandwich. The delicious tea cocktail I was served was a refreshing delight as well. It was the special for the day. If your in Bangkok definitely stop by Bonita and be sure to strike up a conversation with the owner, a champion runner who's accomplished many races in the US and abroad.

Mi trovavo da quelle parte e un minuto prima che chiudesse (21.00) sono entrato, la signora mi ha fatto sedere e lasciato ordinare e consumare al tavolo. Ho preso questo panino (220 bath) che non ricordo il nome, ma è uno dei loro classici. Saporitissimo, ogni ingrediente aveva gusto: patate speziate e cotte benissimo, insalata e pomodorini conditi con una salsa tipo nocciole, impasto del pane integrale e maionaise artigianale erano fantastici. Il burger di tofu. Tap water senza chiederla, servizio veloce e accogliente. C’è un piano di sopra ma non l’ho visto.

As a local of Bangkok who bored of Thai food, I must say this place saves my life. Food always bomb. We ordered spaghetti. It was perfect ! I also like the fact that they have gluten free options. The owners are friendly as always. I don’t know how to explain it. You just have to visit this restaurant once and find out.

Great place ! The owners are a Thai Japanese couple who have spent a lot of time in the USA and have brought back at lot of relics from the States. Feels like an old American bed and breakfast. Two floors, great lending library of books, amazing artifacts from the USA, two amazing cats, great location in Silom, great food, quiet chill and also good for meetups.

What a delicious and fulfilling lunch we had today - so much so we had no space for dinner! When we first walked in, we felt at home. The decor is super quirky and eclectic, just the way we like it, and the owners are so friendly and helpful and nice! Everything came out really fast and the food was simply superb. My husband's highlight was the drink, the Datorade, which is just dates and ice blended up. I mean, GENIUS!! This was spectacular and one of my highlights too. I thoroughly enjoyed the club sandwich, which is my favourite kind of sandwich, and we also loved the American Cheeseburger as well as the Popeye's Creamy Spinach soup. We also shared the Brown - Chocolate Smoothie which was to die for... Seriously, this place was fantastic!! So as not to miss out, we ordered a brownie to take away, which I ate a couple of bites from for dinner, and once again was delighted by the yumminess of it all. Refine sugar free and gluten free - the best kind of desserts! If we had more time in Bangkok, we would come here again. And again and again and again.
