Beware fish sauce - Edit

We ordered takeout from here and specified that we’d like everything vegan. The Thai curry absolutely contained fish paste/sauce and we obviously weren’t able to eat it. Besides that it was very low quality and the pad Thai we ordered was barely edible and tasted like rancid vegetables.

Very disappointing - bad experience - Edit

The first thing that struck me upon entering the restaurant was the lack of aroma of delicious Thai food. Then the servers were very unfriendly, nothing on the menu were marked as vegan/veg (as noted in other reviews), and we were told the curries were not vegan and were not given the option of omitting the fish sauce. The food we ended up getting tasted more like bad Chinese food…I would not return nor recommend this place..

Pros: Fast

Cons: Bad Service - almost hostile, No specified Vegan dishes, frozen bad spring rolls, tasteless veggies

A Rare Great Option - Edit

Blue Mango in Williamstown is a great vegan-friendly option in a part of the Berkshires without many great vegan-friendly options.

I got steamed vegetable dumplings and tofu pad thai, and both were delicious.

As of the time of this review, they don’t have anything specifically marked vegan on the menu, but the staff is knowledgeable and helpful, and they are totally willing to make the necessary modifications (no egg, no fish sauce, no oyster sauce).

I will absolutely be back.

Pros: Tasty options, Knowledgeable staff, Willing to make modifications

Cons: No marked vegan options

Tasty stuff! - Edit

Got spring rolls and chive pancakes. Didn’t ask if they were vegan, I was too hungry and they were DELICIOUS.

Ordered the red curry with veggies. I specified no fish sauce and they said that they don’t use it !!!!! Woo!

Everything was super tasty 😋

Pros: Lots of vegetarian/vegan custom orders, They don’t use fish sauce!!!
