Disappointing, not a good choice

There is ZERO vegan restaurant in Freetown so I reluctantly went to Bliss to order a custom pizza. I specifically asked to have mushrooms, olives and green peppers, tomatoes with thin crust & tomato sauce. It came terribly wrong as everything was undercooked, i could tasted raw onions (which I specified NO ONIONS) and had barely any tomato sauce and even the crust with undercooked dough (not thin crust). I don’t even question that there has been some kind of cross contamination between my food and meat! Btw, the employees there do not understand English, communication could be difficult. And I only had two slices and got really sick 🤢 that night! Expensive & NOT WORTH IT! 😞

Lots of Options

Finding veg*n food in Freetown is hard. This was probably the best place we ate. Between the Indian and Middle Eastern foods plus a few assorted other items, it would be easy to have several meals here without repeating dishes. The samosas and chana masala were great. The atmosphere is nice with indoor and outdoor seating and working AC inside. Service was good and fast by Freetown standards. Meals are expensive for Sierra Leone, maybe $30 or so for two people.
