Staff has no idea what vegan is - Edit
I went there to grab a coffee and croissant. The staff behind the counter had no idea whether they had vegan options and went to ask in the kitchen. He came back and told me that they had a vegan apple turnover. Since I didn't want an apple turnover but a croissant I asked him again if he didn't have plain croissants.
Read moreHe said "yes, this one"and pointed at one croissant. "It doesn't have any cream or anything in it".
"ok, but is it also vegan? Like no eggs, no dairy?"
He shrugged his shoulders, confused. Apparently he had no idea what vegan even meant. So I had no other choice than to leave.
The whole conversation was conducted in Italian so it couldn't have been a language issue.

Very beautiful restaurant, but it was a shame the falafel was very disappointing. It was only falafel with a little veganaise on it, and a sort of mousse. If it would be served with vegetables, it would make a big difference. Friendly service, but also no possibility to wash your hands as the taps in neither of the toilets dit work.

Vegan up front! - Edit
A beautiful restaurant in Florence. Vegan options clearly labeled on the menu. A couple of my omnivore lunch mates ordered the vegan quinoa and really enjoyed it. I opted for the vegan burger. Fantastic.

Had the pleasure of eating dinner here with my mom. I had the lentil patty’s and the vegan dessert. There is a separate vegan section on their menu. The employees were wonderful! Great service and atmosphere

Had green lentil balls with creamy potatoes - delicious & other options sounded just as nice. My meat eater partner was also very satisfied! Would highly recommend.
