Healthy spot in downtown Binghamton

Blend is a brand-new spot on Gorgeous Washington Street in the heart of downtown Binghamton. The owner is vegan and very friendly! He told me that his alliance lies first with his vegan customers, and when it first opened up the entire menu was vegan, but I assume he added an organic chicken wrap and a yogurt smoothie to appeal to the masses.

This is a great place if you want a healthy, cheap meal. The smoothies and salads are great. I've only been there a few times so far so I haven't tried everything on the menu, but what I have tried was yummy and interesting. The avocado salad dressing is to die for!

This is a new local business that is definitely worth supporting.

Pros: Owner is friendly and vegan, Location, Inexpensive

Cons: Almost all vegan menu, but not quite!, Closed for the winter
