Amazing vegan menu! - Edit
I am a regular here at Black Bamboo because of the huge vegan menu, fresh and local veggies, and awesome staff. West Hartford is a wasteland for vegans but this place is a refreshing vegan oasis. My favorites: vegan chicken and broccoli, vegan sesame chicken, vegan spare ribs!

Not many seats == bad - Edit
1-star review from someone who admittedly didn't eat here! The restaurant is in fact mainly take-out, but it seats 14. During our visit, we were the only 3 people dining in (i.e., plenty of seats).
Very reasonable vegan menu, with a full list of the usual Chinese fast food standbys. Quality is well above average, with many mock meat options and rich, spicy flavors.

Amazing food for both herbivores and carnivores alike! Sonny is the owner and if you're there more than once he seems to have the amazing ability to remember what you had. Full selection of standard take -out Chinese along with a great selection of vegan options.

We searched for a convenient stop on our way north but this tiny place had only a few diner type seats and so ended up next door at a lovely Japanese place "Tokyo Sushi"
We need a place to sit!!! This is mainly take out.
