Amazing resource here in rural France, delicious food. - Edit
There are so many vegan choices here. The pizzas are fantastic and you can have on them what you want.
Read morePlant based milk available.
Study the menu and you will find loads of options. Very unusual to have so many vegan choices in rural France.
Gluten free if needed, call ahead though.
Desserts are legendary and so much choice.
The people are lovely and go the extra mile.
Always book and check times of opening.
Won't allow me to give five stars as it's not fully vegan.
Pros: Good food, lots of vegan choices., Friendly staff who will help in any way they can. , Lake Pardoux near by, lots of activities.
Cons: Serves all food, the norm in rural France

Arrived at 1:45, apparently last orders at 1:30. We had driven for 2 and a half hours with a toddler in a hot car, he was clearly sweating and sad but they offered no flexibility - even though they were still actually taking orders from sitting patrons. There is no mention on google or here about this - they told us that they “do say it on Facebook”. The suggestion being I should check the Facebook page of every restaurant I visit. Very angry and disappointed

This is a very unfair review. It is rural France and most places are only open lunch and/or evening. It is France and things are different and you have to inform yourself. Times of opening change between winter/summer, always check opening times.

This is a very rare and amazing resource for us vegans living in rural France and we are regular customers and do not recognise your description of them.
It's very difficult being vegan here and you feel very isolated. Don't knock this amazing resource that provides good vegan food, are lovely people and have legendary vegan desserts. This is a special and lovely place. Bonus is it's near an amazing lake with loads of activities too. Look up Lake St. Pardoux. In summer it's warm for swimming too. Can't recommend Bistrot La Forge enough.

Good vegan options in such a small village in the heart of the Limousine region (which is very well known for it’s beef). It is even possible to order a 3 cheeses vegan pizza. We took the Vegan Burger which comes with excellent fries. Very kind staff which speaks English.

Friendly staff. They speak very good english. The food is good. Not high standart. A lot of fries choices with vegan burgers. A lot more than other restaurants in small villages in France! I had the vegan burger with a big,good salad and fries.
