Wonderful vegan and gluten free options - Edit
This is a lovely little bistro with a fully gluten free menu and good vegan options. The staff were highly attentive, spoke excellent English, and the restaurant was atmospheric.
Read moreI had the vegan soup of the moment to start, a vegan ratatouille lasagne for my main course and a blueberry sorbet with blueberries and vegan brownie pieces for dessert. Each course was delicious and beautifully presented. There were additional vegan items of a vegetable curry and a vegan panacotta.
I highly recommend this place for a delicious but not too pretentious dining experience in Quebec.

Un restaurant rafraîchissant au cœur du Vieux Québec où on peut allier la nourriture sans gluten et vegan. J’ai commencé par un velouté en entrée que j’ai suivi par un cari aux légumes. Que dire du menu où les vins véganes sont annoncés? Le tout vient dans une ambiance cosy et du personnel sympathique. Plus de restaurants devraient les prendre en modèle.

Personne ne mentionne cela, mais c'est un restaurant sans gluten avant tout! Peu d'options végétaliennes, beaucoup plus végétariennes. Mais toutes sans gluten :)

Decent vegan food give the options and prices in this touristy area. It’s all relative. I thought the curry was decent but did not like the chocolate cake so much. My omni family enjoyed their meals. Something for everybody.

I highly recommend Bistro Hortus if you are in Quebec City. The vegan options are very good. I had a vegetable curry and vegan chocolate cake. Both were delicious!

There were only a few vegan options but they were all delicious. The Port-at-feu was great (note that it’s labeled vegan but has honey. The sever said they could take the honey out). Bonus points for the vegan chocolate cake!!

Explicitly marks on menu which dishes are vegan/vegetarian. I got the “stir fry” which was alright. Fancy sort of restaurant, takes reservations. Great cocktail options. Good for groups!

Delicious food and amazing experience! Sources from their rooftop! - Edit
This restaurant has one vegan option, and multiple vegetarian options, which can certainly be customized to be vegan. They source locally, and they have a garden on their rooftop where they grow alot of their ingredients! The staff was very accommodating and very friendly! I highly recommend this restaurant, and I will definitely be back!
