Wonderful vegan, organic food - Edit
As soon as you enter this wonderful little vegan restaurant, the first thing that strikes you is the wonderful smells. The restaurant itself is lovely, with pine floors and furniture and art work on the walls. And the food is just SUPERB! The prices are surprisingly reasonable, especially considering everything is organic. The raw houmous tasted divine. The only downside for me was the rather loud pop music in the background. But when I eventually went to ask if they didn't have something a bit more 'zen', the music was kindly turned down. Oh another thing that I appreciated: you can choose between "small portion" and "large portion", for most dishes.

It's good but expensive like all the raw restaurants. The food is simple but good, portion a bit small but raw food fill more than the other kinds of food. Carrot cake was just ok, I liked the most the vegan raw pizza.

Ultra freshly prepared organic raw food, super modern and clean premises decorated in light pastel colours. We had a couple of energy drinks and bought a Hurraw! lip balm which makes sense seeing as it’s a raw food place. Staff speak excellent English and are extremely knowledgeable about vegan living and nutrition.

I ordered the Bionectar bowl with raw ‘burger’ patties,. The presentation was stunning and the taste out of this world. The chocolate almond cake was incredibly good. Everyone working there is super nice and the place itself has a tranquil, fresh feel.

Had the daily menu, which was a soup salad and pizza. The food was elegantly prepared and delicious, bit pricey at 15 euros though. Vegan cheesecake was also tasty though the piece was a bit small for 6 eur. Overall a pleasant place with tasty healthy food..

As a fan of raw cakes I couldn't miss the opportunity to get a carrot one. It was delicious and served with style. I also enjoyed the interior of the place, which was very bright and clean, made like a spacious kitchen and nicely decorated, with a Scandinavian feel. The staff was friendly, speaking Catalan, English and Swedish. You can also buy some organic products and kitchen ware in here.

*(Important, in this restaurant, you can not go in a hurry because the dishes are usually served slowly, but when you finally can start eating, you forgoten this "wasted" time, there is no stress in this Raw oasis, so go there with calm, if not forget! )

Blown away by the food, the decor and the owner! - Edit
I'm not a regular raw eater, but after visiting Bionectar i feel like i've been won over by this approach to vegan dining. The meal was probably the healthiest and the most well presented i've ever had. The place itself has a wonderful interior and a thoughtful arrangement of tables and bookshelves too.

This all raw vegan little restaurant with excellent location -it's right in the old town- offers a lovely atmosphere and it is a space created with huge care and enviromental consciousness. It is a project rather than a business,aimed to share and spread the benefits of raw foodism and a healthy lifestyle -it is also a raw vegan nutrition/cook school and a yoga centre.
Read moreWith just six tables and an open kitchen, you can see how they prepare your food at the moment, which is always tasty and gorgeous, with 100% organic ingredients. The prices are more than reasonable considering the quality of the food. They have an extensive menu with juices, smoothies, tapas, main dishes,soups, sandwiches,etc, which changes every season, and then offer a daily option which is a generous plate consisting of soup or salad and two dishes that change every day. The latter option is always very good and very filling and costs only 12 euro.
the desserts are absolutely mouth watering! especially the chocolate cake and the carrot&coconut cake.
So if you're in Girona Bionèctar is definitely a must!!
