Really nice experience

We came while a culinary paper chase and got a 3 course tasting meal. Wow. Amazing. All people there were incredibly friendly and they offer a lot. Cooking classes, private dining and lot more. I have to come back.

Pros: All vegan , New experience , Friendly staff

Komisch

Sehr unangenehm!

Pros: Schoko Mousse , Vegan

Cons: Ambiente , Mitarbeiterin/Chefin

Name of this venue couldn't be more fitting

These guys really know how to cook healthy gourmet food. The meals are balanced, based on whole foods, include a probiotic component, and low in salt but still taste great.
The owners are very friendly, although at first it is a bit weird to come in being the only paying guest - as if you're intruding in someone's house - but the wholesome food made it oh so worth it and you'll feel welcome in no time.
A Note regarding vegan/vegetarian status: the lunch is all vegan, but not all cookery courses are.

Pros: All organic, healthy and delicious, mostly gluten free

Cons: Needs a reservation

Drinks included

We had read great reviews and were very much looking forward to our meal here but on the whole, we were disappointed. The food was already served when we got there at 13:15 (as instructed) so the main meal was luke warm. The starter was a simple soup, the main course was also just plain vegetables and lentils with a few side dishes (that tasted better) and the desert was a sort of pudding cream I personally did not like. This meal was not worth 18€, even though, on the positive sides of things, drinks are included and the choice was nice: organic apple juice, water and lots of different teas. The staff were not friendly at all and we were expected to eat all three courses in just 45 minutes after which we were literally told we had to go. We also inquired about the ingredients and wanted to know what 5 element cuisine was all about and we were told to "look up online". The concept is that you eat on large tables with the other guests but it seemed we were the only paying guests and whilst everyone could hear our conversation, we obviously weren't welcomed to ask about the concept of the place or the dishes. We may well have come on the wrong day, maybe the food is usually better.

Contemporary vegan and vegetarian cooking

Lovely place in almost the center of Cologne with divers options: daily menu (3 course at EUR 15) for which you have to register until 10am on the day you would like to eat; cooking school based on 5 element kitchen an lots of other cooking classes like ayurvedic, raw. Very good aspect are the 9 months trainings for people who work in classic restaurants to give them an idea of vegetarian/vegan cuisine. The owner Mayoori is an experienced lady who worked many years in public restaurants and dedicates her life to expand vegan and vegetarian healthy cooking for everybody in a contemporary and easy way. Aboslutely worth seeing and experiencing!

Pros: excellent food quality, well trained staff, warm and welcoming atmosphere

Cons: limited opening times for public eating
