Lovely little store, which especially has got a fantastic range of natural cosmetics and natural medicines. There are also organic veggies, drinks, sauces, hummus, salsas and a lot more yummy vegan items.

It’s nice to have but it’s definitely not a Whole Foods (large health food store with lots of options). To be honest, I think it could do a lot better considering the size of an Puerto Viejo. It has the basics and that’s about it. Expect to pay high prices as well.

We stopped in for vegan empanadas and we were not disappointed! The only downside to this adorable store is that it does not always open as early as they have posted, so you may need to try a few times before you can get what you came for.

Best little shop in Puerto Viejo! - Edit
I love this little store and they have so many wonderful local organic products as well as lots of vegan food! They always have vegan empanadas and baked goods. Definitely stop in here if you want any healthy snacks or want good quality stuff for cooking!
