AMAZING! - Edit
I love that this is a 100% vegan, black owned restaurant! I love me some comfort food, and Binge Kitchen is phenomenal! So tasty, huge portion sizes. I got the Southern Fried Chick’n with candied yams, mashed potatoes and gravy, and mac & cheeze. Amazinggggg. I can’t say enough good things.

Really, really great food. Unpleasant ordering experience. - Edit
Food is so good. Everything on the menu is perfectly made and beautifully presented.
Read moreThe cookies are perfect, I get them every time and they’re always crispy on the edges but soft and chewy in the middle.
The orange chicken is my fave. The broccoli is always perfect.
Just order it for delivery tho!! Don’t go there!!
Don’t try to pick it up. It’s meant for ubereats, it’s not a friendly or welcoming place to pick up or eat. It’s a shared kitchen place and the pickup system S U C K S.
The parking lot is also treacherous.
I placed an order, they called me and said it would be 45 minutes.
I came back 60 minutes later and was told it would be one more minute, and to wait for a text.
15 min later no text, so I went back inside to ask again and no one was around.
I could see my order, with my name clearly on it, sitting on a shelf that I couldn’t reach. I stood there for another 5 minutes before someone, reluctantly, came to help me…. Actually, I asked the person I could see across the kitchen for help and they said “I’m not working,” and then proceeded to antagonize me for literally three minutes before handing me my order. It was very weird.
Pros: Food is so good, Big portions, 100% vegan menu
Cons: Lousy location, delivery only

Chef's kiss good 😋 - Edit
The smoked vegan wings were delicious. The barbeque were good too but the smoked ones really tasted great. The mashed potatoes and gravy were flavorful. Mashed potatoes and gravy is a simple dish but these were remarkable. The candied yams were good.

BEST VEGAN FOOD IN ATX - Edit
Head over for some deliciously well priced vegan food made with love. They have dinner, breakfast & desert and provide flavor that can be hard to come by. One of the best spots for v Mac n cheese and breaded chicken. Yummm!

Tasty comfort food - Edit
Had the pleasure of trying some of their food today. I decided to go outside of my normal comforts and tried the coconut crusted chick’n with candied yams and mac n chz. The coconut crust on the chik’n was super crispy even over a half hour after picking it up. The sauce it came with was similar to a sweet and sour sauce with a teeny bit of heat to round out the flavor. The candied yams were super sweet and though normally I am not a sweet fan the spices made it surprisingly good and I enjoyed it. I will definitely be going back to try other stuff from them soon!

Definitely Comfort Food! - Edit
Comfort food is definitely the best label for Binge Kitchen. I opened the takeout box and the smell of the yams, gravy, and spices from the chick’n’s breading all brought me back back to eating (and I really mean this in the best way possible) a big family meal of KFC as a kid. The candied yams are sweet, but have all kinds of baking spices to balance them out. The breading is perfect-it adds a good crunch to the chick’n and easily bests whatever secret blend of herbs and spices the Colonel’s cooking up—except this is made with love and not zillions of factory farmed chickens. There was an earlier comment about the gravy not being great, but it was absolutely delicious to me—I would get even more on the side to put on biscuits. I can’t wait to come back!

Super tasty vegan comfort food! - Edit
The food was amazing! The southern fried chick'n was a great texture compared to most I've tried. It was crispy on the outside and firm to my liking on the inside. The baked means were hearty and out of this world! They had the perfect amount of sweetness. The mac n cheese was good. I was surprised by the hint of coconut taste but I didn't mind it. The portions were a good size and you may or may not finish it all depending on your appetite. I will be back to try more deliciousness! It is a place where you just pick up your order to-go so be mindful of that in case you are expecting anything more. Just know that magic and love has been put in this food behind those doors!

Great Food, Easy Online Ordering - Edit
I just tried Binge Kitchen after hearing about it on social media. I had a great experience! I ordered online and received text that my order was accepted, and gave me an ETA for pickup. Pickup was easy, it’s located in a black & grey building just off the I35 access road.
Read moreThe food was great! We had their southern fried chick’n, coconut crusted chik’n, Mac and cheese and baked beans. All of the food, and especially the beans, was phenomenal, and the portions are huge!
Bonus points for Binge kitchen using sustainable packaging.
My only suggestion would be to have evening & Saturday hours since these are the times I most frequently eat out.
I can’t wait to go back and try their other menu items!
Pros: Vegan Chik’n, Portion Sizes, Online Ordering
Cons: Lack of evening and weekend hours

Southern style takeout - Edit
The fried chickn is pretty good: the seitan has nice texture but the breading was just OK. The collard greens were tasty but maybe a tiny bit on the spicy side. Cabbage is very good. The gravy is pretty disappointing... just kind of muddy tasting. For southern style food that gravy better be more memorable. It was more like high school cafeteria gravy.
Read moreupdated: the food has transformed since my first experience there. The sides were much more flavorful. The coconut crusted chickn was very satisfying. I would definitely go back. I have not tried the gravy again yet.

First Try Exceeded Expectations - Edit
I just today tried Binge Kitchen (Austin location), and ordered the coconut crusted Chik'n with Mac n cheese and baked beans. The coconut crusted Chik'n was fantastic! I normally freak out when trying new faux meat products, but the texture was good, the coconut crust super crunchy (even after a 15 min drive home) and incredibly tasty...the sauce on the side for it was packed with flavor! Didn't love the mac n cheese, too coconutty for me (that's the only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars). The baked beans were beyond expectation, super smokey and sweet! My wife said the Chik'n and beans were the best vegan restaurant food she's tasted, and has already asked to go back this weekend. Will definitely be coming back!

Bromatologists to blandish a blithesome battening. - Edit
In a town with (almost) a surfeit of vegan chicken options, this place paradoxically has baked beans of renown. Location is perhaps not ideal, with nothing nearby to draw foot traffic. No outside seating and without reverie or view. Go for the food and leave quickly to find another spot to eat it.
