Ate here a couple days ago. The BBQ jackfruit is muuuuch better than the Buffalo tempeh. The sides are pretty great too (especially the slaw)

Great vegan food. Highly recommend the Pulled BBQ Jackfruit ~ juicy and flavorful. Baked beans are delicious too! Team members working at the truck were super hospitable and helpful with questions. Definitely a BBQ spot for me!

Delicious southern comfort food - Edit
Very good southern comfort food! We loved it and got it two nights in a row. There are gluten free options which is great and they are delicious and easy to customize. I especially liked the bbq jackfruit. The location is great, next to Nissi Vegmex, which has parking and there is also seating. Food was ready fast. Unique flavors in sauces, everything tastes fresh. I don't really have critiques, but if I had to I would say I'd like bigger portions to match the prices or lower prices on things. But honestly, it's not a big deal. Being a food truck in Austin ain't cheap! Definitely worth a visit.

Hi Sam, thanks for the great review! We appreciate your input. We'd like to note the reason for our prices and portions. We are a made from scratch kitchen, not using prefab and frozen products. We are highly selective and use mostly organic ingredients. We calculate our portion sizes and pricing for each menu item and we feel it's on par with most Bistro style restaurants. Our goal is the Best Quality not quantity for the price.

Finally tried boneafide over the weekend! Got the bistro burger and the bourbon bbq jackfruit sandwich. SO GOOD! Both were perfect. Love a good old fashioned house made veggie burger and the grilled bun and love some fresh cut fries too. Also sounds weird to say but I really liked their ketchup. And potato salad! Highly recommend.

I am so excited to have this truck in Austin! I highly recommend the Bourbon BBQ Jackfruit plate, Full Monty style (adds potato salad). Everything is perfectly balanced & wowwww that smoky bbq sauce is so good!
