Wij zijn al zeker 4x bij Albrecht wezen eten. Iedere keer zeer naar onze zin gehad. Meestal gaan we voor het 4 gangen menu + wijn arrangement. Het eten ziet er niet alleen mooi uit zo smaakt het ook. Heel af en toe is een gerecht iets minder van smaak (maar smaken verschillen...) Ik blijf zeker terug komen. Veruit het beste plantaardig restaurant van Eindhoven en omgeving.

Went to this restaurant with my husband, and it was really nice! Of course because the place is all vegan (bonus points for that!), but also because we could have a really nice night out, with lots of wonderful and special dishes. We had the 5-course meal and every course was beautiful, and tasted really good. Lots of flavours the whole evening. I am extra happy with this restaurant, because sometimes it seems like most all-vegan places are more burger/fast-food places and not really suitable for a romantic dinner, so this fine vegan fine-dining restaurant is very welcome! So yes, it's not cheap but it's definately worth it when you are looking for a nice evening out with really good food!

My boyfriend (vegetarian) and I (vegan) went to Bij Albrecht on a Friday night. We both loved the entire experience of dining there. The staff welcomed us very friendly, and we could choose a table. We ordered the 5-course menu, which was a bit too much for me (23 year old woman), but it was a good quantity for my boyfriend (26 year old man). After the second course we asked if there could be a bit more time in between the courses, and so they did, which was great for me. I really liked the friendliness of the staff, the quality of the food, the taste, the look of it, it was all amazing. It was quite an expensive evening (about 100 euros for the two of us, both having a 5-course menu and about 6 drinks in total), but for the entire experience it was well worth it.

I visited this restaurant on saturday night. The food was good. Beautifuly presented, like a little painting on your plate for each course. The restaurant it self looks lovely. It's clean and there is soft lighting. The staff was very polite and friendly. Especially the girl with the curly hair. She had a lovely genuine smile.

The chairs were not so comfortable. There were little pillows available, but we were the only ones having one because my boyfriend took them himself.
There was a wooden block under the table that was quite big, so you couldn't really come close enough to the table without hitting your knees.
Further, (this is a personal preference ofcourse) it was very quiet in this restaurant so people could hear every word you'd say during a conversation if they wanted to.
It felt a bit awkward.
We ordered the 3 course dinner for both of us (which was €30,- per person), and a sidedish of bitterballen. The price of these was quite crazy to me. €8,50 for 6 bitterballen with mayo and mostard is a bit of a rip off if you ask me..
The taste of the food was good though. The entree and main looked similar, but tasted very different.
Overall, a nice place to have visited. But I doubt if I would come back, which is a pity, because I was hoping for a different experience seeing that they are the only 100% vegan place in town.

Looks like a good place to eat but just know that hours aren't consistent and not always communicated on the website or social media. Make sure to call ahead before wasting time, 2 days in a row, like we did.

Two of our group had specific food requests (no oil, no salt, no gluten) Never easy to eat out with such specific requirements, but the chef personally discussed & created a special menu for us when the reservation was made. We really appreciate(d) his effort.
The food was all lovely , all made to order & beautifully presented.Nice creative touch of adding flowers, herbs & colour to food.
Beware: only downside was that none of it was organic, which seems like a missed opportunity, it is hard to find vegan & organic.
The desserts, made by a small local business were very very good. Liked the fact that they were helping promote another small business.
It was a great evening out & will definitely go again if ever in the neighbourhood !

I've had dinner here several times and each times I am impressed by what they do! The chef worked at a Michelin star restaurant before and that level and quality you can feel, see and taste. Bij Albrecht is the best vegan restaurant in Eindhoven and far around!

Read moreYou don´t know what you are going to eat, we were a little bit skeptical about that. But then we really enjoyed all the courses. First we had some snacks: two paté with home-baked bread. Soft and tasty. Then we had two main courses. The first one was so special, new flavours for us. The second one was Spanish tortilla, just the perfect taste. As dessert we had panacotta made of berry and citrus ice cream.
Nice portions, amazing flavours, good combination. Friendly and helpful staff, nice atmosphere. I recommend this place!

Lovely 4 course dinner! - Edit
For my birthday, my boyfriend and I went to Bij Albrecht for a 4 course dinner. We had a wonderful evening with great service, very friendly people, and most important: terrific food! The price range (38 euros for 4 course meal) was OK (maybe a bit high). I was informed about this before we came here and was prepared because it was a special occassion. So, if you’re looking for something more than just a quick budget meal, I would most definitely recommend Bij Albrecht because you will have a full vegan experience. It will be a lovely evening!

I have wanted to have dinner at Bij Albrecht for a while, so I was so excited that my boyfriend took me there for my birthday. We had a 4-course chef's experience menu with wine pairing, and bitterballs as appetiser.
Read moreAltogether, every dish was beautifully crafted and there were good flavours; unfortunately these flavours were quite mild or some flavours where fully missing. For example, the bitterballs were served with homemade mustard and the 1st course, a cold beetroot salad, with wasabi sauce - I couldn't taste either of these normally rather evident flavours. Our favourites were the 3rd course, a Spanish potato tortilla, which had a subtle but balanced palate, and their homemade bailey's that was served as 'the wine' for dessert.
The restaurant was almost fully booked that evening, but they had only one waiter (which should be okay for a small restaurant). The service was friendly but bit rushed, and I didn't have a chance to finish the paired wine before the next course & wine was already served. However, I believe this has more to do with their closing time (it's 8.30 PM, our dessert was served at 8.45 PM) than the general quality of service and atmosphere.
Being the only fully vegan restaurant in Eindhoven, I believe we will give Bij Albrecht another chance to win us on their side :)

Read moreI found the meals on offer to be very surprising and a lot of effort is put in how the dish actually "looks". A lot of creativity, a lot of new flavours and almost al dishes can be veganized (everything is already vegan or vegetarian).
Tad expensive if you're just wanting to have dinner for 2. We paid around €92,- for a bottle of wine, tastery platters of entrees and mains. For this price the dinner could have been a bit more exclusive. Not complaining though :)
Pros: creative dishes (both recipe and looks), hospitality, the owners are very very kind , all dishes are vegetarians, most can be made vegan
Cons: tables around the entrance can be a bit chilly, prices are a tad high
