Really amazing! Loads of choices - Edit
We had an excellent meal here and tried three of the dishes. Very delicious and great to get to eat Korean in Korea (last night we could only find Thai or Indian near us).

Tasty and fast - Edit
I had the tteokbokki - a little spicy and a lot of flavor! The assorted pancakes were good too. There is a kiosk to order with a clear vegetarian section where items are vegan. Great location - right outside of the cultural village

Great vegan options - Edit
We had japchae, potato pancakes and dumplings. Everything was delicious. They serve veganized options of Korean food, you can use a screen to choose your vegan options. The restaurant is little but nice. I really like the wall with names of customers from all the world.

Great japchae - Edit
Several dishes are vegan. We had the red japchae and it was very well seasoned unlike a lot of other Korean food we had. They also have sweet rice drink in several flavours and it was very good also. Will come back.

Excellent - Edit
Great English service with cool vibe. They serve some veganized versions of Korean street food. I had the soy tofu Japchae, and the Tteotbokki (red broth rice cakes). The Japchae was good, flavour not so strong. The Tteotbokki was really good if a little too sweet. I later talked to the counter and kitchen staff and they showed me that they use a vegan umami paste instead of shrimp sauce.
Read moreThe menu has a marked "vegetarian" section, without any dairy, so everything is vegan except for the dish with egg on top, which can also be made to be vegan.
Cool gimmick: print a sticker with your name in Korean at the counter and stick it next to your country.
Pros: English speaking service, Easy to order from computer, Aware of veganism and well informed substitutes
Cons: Tteobokki too sweet. Maybe can ask no sugar, Japchae sauce not strong but still tasty, On the expensive side of street food price range

Excellent vegan Korean food options near Gamcheon Culture Village - Edit
Was very crowded when we arrived, which seemed like a good sign that this was a popular food spot. Decided to order takeout because the estimated wait time to be seated was 1 hour. It was a cold, windy day and yet they kept the front of the restaurant open. Fast service for takeout. Luckily we were able to snag a couple of the stools to eat our food while it was hot.
Read moreHad some difficulty ordering due to the language barrier. By the staff were friendly and had a conveniently placed vegan menu (with 5 items) from which I could point.
Ordered two items:
- Fried Tofu Japchae: very tasty; just what I was needing after a long day of travel
- Vegetable Assorted Pancake: really delicious! My favorites were the pumpkin and scallion flavored pancakes. Very slightly oily.
Would definitely recommend this restaurant if you’re near Gamcheon Culture Village. Would have loved to try the rice cake and vegetable dumpling soup if there had been seating!

It makes no sense to leave just one star because you found it closed. Very little respect for the restaurant's work and very poor use of Happy Cow.
