Good grain bowls, not crazy about the burger and fries - Edit
I've been to B. Good several times in Portland. There are a lot of great things about eating here. It is a fast casual dining spot with tons of vegetarian options and a couple of vegan options on the menu. Their prices are reasonable. Also, they are centrally located downtown, so it is a very convenient spot for dining if you are visiting Portland. I've had their grain bowls several times, and I think they are quite good. For vegans, as other reviewers have mentioned, you would need to ask for them without cheese. You could probably get a better vegan burger and fries in the area. The fries are particularly disappointing. Somehow, some of mine were burnt and others were undercooked?

Mostly okay - Edit
Quality consistency and service has room for improvement. I have waited an insane amount of time for simple orders even before Covid and the labor shortage. I used to love their fries and ketchup but the quality has gone down since Covid. The veggie burgers are okay but nothing special. Perks are that the app does give pretty good discounts!

Cons: Quality is inconsistent

Menu online doesn't match what they offer at the restaurant - Edit
The only vegan options words a spicy bowl or the beyond burger which had to be modified to be made vegan
Read moreWent here because I searched their menu and they had way more options online than they offered actually in the store
$10 for a beyond burger with no sides. Would not go back
Pros: They had one vegan option
Cons: Expensive and very little food for the prices

Bowls are great - Edit
I got the rice and veggie bowl and added tofu, it was so good. They had several other options, it was hard for me to chose and next time I go back to Maine I’ll go there for sure

Vegan burger is disappointing - Edit
There are no vegan bun options, and the want to charge extra to put it over veggies. If I wanted a salad ... I'd order one.

Pretty good fast meal - Edit
There are some vegan options, but beware of cheese in the grain bowls! I ordered a vegan meal, but it came with feta. Luckily I noticed and they made me a new one. I made sure the original was going to be eaten by someone and not thrown away.

Quick, healthy bites - Edit
Stopped for a quick bite here with some friends. I had the root veggie bowl and it was solid - kale, sweet potatoes, cranberries, beets, Brussels, farro, mushrooms with a maple mustard vinaigrette and I added some tofu to bulk it up. Tasted like Thanksgiving in a bowl! Brother had veggie burger (option with the BBQ sauce) and said it was good. Boyfriend had the southwestern salad with chicken and really liked it - could easily be made vegetarian if you subbed tofu for chicken. You leave feeling good about what you ate. Would recommend!

Decent, but not tons of choices - Edit
I visit Portland a couple times a year for work, and B. Good is reliable. I've had the roasted root and mushroom grain bowl before on previous visits, and it's pretty good! I've always added the tofu, which makes it more filling. Had the veggie burger today, which is really the only other main "entree" type option for vegans. The veggie burger patty is vegan, though the sandwich/burger section of the menu doesn't label the pre-built burger options as veg or vegan. You have to read the ingredients and ensure there's no cheese or meat or mayo. The "Cousin Oliver" appears to be vegan, and I asked and it is, but it's not labeled as vegan. You're asked what kind of bun you want, white or wheat, and they're both vegan. However, I was told the gluten-free bun is NOT vegan.
Read moreAs of July 2018, there's also a small handful of vegan sides (fries, delicious; avocado toast), as well as some vegan labeled smoothies.
Pros: Food is tasty., "vegan" on the menu.
Cons: Not tons of vegan options., Vegan labeling not consistent.
