Pleasant if you look for traditional taste in vegan version - Edit
Good (but not the best) vegan schnitzel, the rest of the changing menu is more meh. You won't be hungry, but it is definitely not in any way unusual.

The best dumplings in town! - Edit
I love this place!! Their food is really good. I tried soup of the day (with cauliflower and corn) and kopytki and it was sooo delicious! The bistro is rather small though and there are only few small tables outside on the street. Hope they'll continue to grow and maybe move to a bigger space one day.

New in town and already my favourite! - Edit
A place like no other in Kraków. It just feels like home. They have very friendly English-speaking staff and a menu consisting mostly of traditional Polish dishes. I recommend their daily offer which is very cheap and varied! You just know these people do their jobs by heart.

A must try - Edit
From the moment we stepped in we were welcomed by a friendly English speaker staff member. He explained the menu (although it's in english) and recommended some dishes. We had the falafel (special of the day), seitan burger and a polish dish which consisted of potato dumplings and vegetables with our choice of sauce (we went for cheesey). All meals were delicious and we would definitely recommend it! The staff member mentioned expanding so you can eat inside which will be even better. Definitely go and check it out!

there is no place like this in Cracow - Edit
I tried almost every place that advertise themselves as vegan friendly. However, this place is not to compare to any of them. What set tofu bistro apart is that it tastes homey. The atmosphere is very friendly and people working there are doing AMAZING job. The "every day" meal surprises me every time. They can literally create every food idea into a vegan meal. The portion are big, delicious and in very good price. My fav is absolutely Vebab :)))

Best Bistro in Town - Edit
Tofu Bistro is just great! They have the best quality to price ratio, by that I mean they have great food, some with local flavors, i.e. "Maczanka Krakowska" - which I highly recommend and also vegan kopytka, polish noodles.
Read moreTheir menu consists of:
+daily lunch (soup + main dish)
+burgers
+soups
+noodles (kopytka)
+deep fried celery sticks
+small desserts
And Tofu just opened two months ago, so I wish them more top notch meals
I hope they'll launch ordering with delivery soon :))
Pros: local themed options in menu, great for takeaway, delicious and cheap
Cons: none, maybe lacking space to eat indoors

Excellent, hearty food - Edit
I was very curious to see what Tofu Bistro has to offer. Among classic vegan fast food options (veggie burgers, no-chicken nuggets) they provide a selection of veganised meals from old-school, traditional Polish cuisine. They make the food fresh everyday and it has a fantastic quality to it. I've tried three dishes there (disclaimer: I didn't go alone) and they were superb. They reportedly also do culinary themed days during the week, covering different cuisines of the world. The fact that the place is in a quiet, calm place, somewhat distanced from the loud and busy streets of the city centre (but only a 10 minute walk away!) is a great bonus and adds to the charm. I highly recommend the seitan burger and any of the Polish meals. Definitely worth the visit!

Great for a quick meal outdoors - Edit
Tasty burgers! The menu is rather limited, but they serve a different meal of the day (consisting of a soup and a main dish) each day, so there is variety. For just 20zl for a set the prices are fairly low. There are only a few small tables outside though, so if the weather is bad, takeaway is the only option.
