Not a good place - Edit
Not a great place. We weren’t welcome there from the start; we wanted to sit with a view of the Viktualienmarkt, but they wouldn’t let us because they were closing that section. It was half past nine in the evening – fair enough. But things got a bit odd towards the end; at some point we were the last customers left, and we were asked to pay so they could do their accounts. Happy to oblige, no problem – everyone’s looking forward to finishing up after a long day. After we’d paid and left a generous tip, we were told we had to finish our drinks and leave because they wanted to close. It was half past ten by then. When I asked in surprise, ‘Aren’t you open until eleven?’, we were told, ‘Yes, but there are no more guests here...’ I’ve never experienced anything like that before.
