31 King William St (at King and James ), Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, L8R1A1

Serves meat, vegan options available. Located in the core of downtown on an historic street. The menu is made up of clearly labeled vegan, vegetarian, and pescatarian dishes, with locally sourced vegetables being the focus of each dish. The vegan cheesecake, which is also gluten free, has a hint of orange and vanilla, topped off with fresh strawberries; a must try. The space is designed with exposed brick and wood, lending an upscale elegance to a casual meal. Late night menu from 10pm on weekends. Open Tue-Sat 12:00pm-3:00pm, Tue-Thu 5:00pm-9:00pm, Fri-Sat 5:00pm-12:00am.

Excellent! - Edit

Build-your-own bowl was tasty and filling, though a bit small. Vegan cheezecake was equally satisfying. Nice patio, central downtown location, great service--what more can you ask? Four stars, only because Happy Cow app doesn't allow non-veg restaurants to be more than four stars. I will give five stars, if I could. Of course, vegan restaurants deserve higher praise, but it is equally important to have omnivorous establishments to provide sizable vegan options, as this one does. Really, how many of your friends and family are vegans?

Great atmosphere, food was tasty and skillfully prepared. A bit expensive for portion size but quality made up for it.
