My Go-To Vegan Grocer

Played a huge part of my vegan life especially when I was still in transition to veganism, with them being the nearest to where I live. They have almost everything that I crave for and helped me a lot.

Pros: Genuine service, They take care of their customers, Different varieties of plantbased options

Worst experience and products. Not worth it even with its cheap price.

I don’t usually include small business names as small companies need to earn during the pandemic but since my FB is private and I don’t want my friends to commit the same mistake, I shared a full version post of this on my page with screenshots of our communication. Sharing this edited version here of what I posted on Oct 20.

Was looking for vegan desserts and out of the many links sent to me, I tried this place since it’s the closest to my house.

First of all, they do not tell you when your orders will arrive. No ETA or anything. They probably just expect homes to have people waiting for deliveries.

Anyways, I ordered vegan crinkles and vegan choco butternut. As you can see, 2 different orders that came in many different packaging. The crinkles arrived with cracked parts of the packaging so the sugar was just everywhere. I threw away the paper bag outside since I don’t want the sugar powder all over the floor.

The choco butternut was probably in their fridge so when it arrived, it was all soaked in water. You can still see some of the “baboy” items through the plastic.

I looked back at their IG post and website if there’s anything in there saying that it needs to be refrigerated coz had I known, I wouldn’t have ordered coz of risks like this.

To sum it up, the orders were a mess and packed carelessly to the point na ang baboy talga esp after I unpacked and moved them to another container. Makes me wonder now if real vegan ba to.

I reached out via social media but I guess sa laki ng company nya with an Operations team and “Partner Crafters” for their packaging, my feedback might just fall on deaf ears.

Unfollow nalang and never order again. I ended up throwing everything.

Para kong nabudol. Also, another small company using many “greens” Pero sandamakmak na plastics 🥺🤭

Pros: Cheap

Cons: Too much plastic packaging, Seemed dirty coz of the packaging, Poor handling and quality

Isn’t this a delivery issue rather than the store, either way 1* seems harsh and childish

Lol come on. You ordered the cheapest thing they had and expected much more! Next time try spending a bit more (if you can). Embarassing.

I think this is more of a delivery handling issue. Not totally the shop’s fault if it was mishandled by the delivery driver. Berde Eats is a small business and the best we can do is to advocate how they can improve and less on complaining. Tho your complains were valid, I do suggest to back it up with solutions on how they can improve rather than just purely attacking them in a negative way. Constructive criticisms are very helpful. If you are vegan, I hope you remember to be kind not just with the animals but with your fellow humans also. Bless you.
