Mind-blowingly good 🥰

I discovered this truck during a festival in Ehrenfeld, and I can't wait to eat there again. Utterly blissful!!

If like me you hadn't heard of doubles before, they're a popular street food from Trinidad and Tobago (of Indo-Trinidadian origin) consisting of curried chickpeas served on two fried flatbreads. They're so amazing I almost cried 😂

The lady who prepared ours very kindly spoilt us rotten with three types of scotch bonnet chilli sauce (bloody delightful) and patiently listened to my ramblings about how much I love doubles from now on and for all eternity 💖

According to Google, the truck is usually parked outside Wohngemeinschaft (Richard-Wagner-Straße 39), but best check their Instagram for more details: @benidoubles

The owner has also written a cook book about vegetarian fare from the Caribbean that sounds 🤤
