Bellefonte Cafe
Serves meat, vegan options available. Cafe in a converted two-story house. Laid-back atmosphere with free Wi-Fi. Sunday is brunch with live music. Owners are vegan aware. Menu includes a vegan Tofurky melt and vegan chorizo tacos; has vegan dessert. Could ask to modify a sandwich to vegan by requesting vegan cheese/sour cream, veganaise, and meat substitutes. Full bar with beer on tap. Open Tue-Thu 11:00am-8:00pm, Fri 11:00am-9:00pm.

Excellent Lunch - Edit
We sat on the cafe's outdoor wrap around deck - beautiful day and our seats were shaded perfectly from the sun - service was much better than in previous visits. Our waiter was prompt in taking our orders and our food came out without any delay. I had the chickpea fajitas - delicious with home made guacamole, fresh salsa, fresh limes and big warmed flour tortilla. The seasoning and texture of the chickpeas were just right - savory and no mush. My companion had the Bánh mì wrap - which replaces the pork with spicy tofu - he enthused about the flavors. I also had a side of curried beets. I love beets, so it's hard to complain (unless they're out of the can). But the dusting of curry powder didn't really excite me. I craved deeper flavors. That quibble aside, a terrific and inviting spot for excellent vegan grub.
Pros: Service, Fresh Food
Cons: "Curried beats" should have been a curry

Delicious! - Edit
Lots of vegan options and such a fun, quirky atmosphere. Started with the Moroccan sampler and I had the Bahn Mi hoagie and my husband had the chick pea fajitas. All were so tasty and the Bahn mi really had some heat. We got dessert to go - both vegan: cheesecake and apple pie cake. So happy to have found this gem!
Pros: lots of options, love the decor, even had dessert!
Cons: a little on the pricey side

Great atmosphere, good food - Edit
This place offers a zen atmosphere perfect for spending a few hours to catch up with friends and family. Sunday brunch is amazing: live band, bloody Mary's, and filling vegan options (you need to make a reservation though because it's packed!) The service is quite slow though. This place is great for taking some time to relax and eat some great food in a unique setting. Also you get exactly what you order; the Tofurky melt is delicious but that's it for $10... no chips, no pickle, no side so I end ordering more food if you're there a while.
