I tripped over this place by accident and loved it, even though the soup of the day was already out. Staff was very nice and helped me with very yummy food to solve my hunger problem.

Good local option - Edit
I’ve been there several times. I find some items excellent and unusual and other times common fare. Occasionally it is only OK but I never regret choosing this place. Everything is well prepared and it’s very clean.

We got there just before the rush... Saturday appears to be normally a busy day for Beetroot, but service is swift and the staff kind and helpful. Definitely recommend for a central lunch... I'm going back next weekend to try the cake!

If you are looking for lunch and are in the city centre, this place is a decent option. The soup is nice and you get a large serve with a slice of good bread for 6 EUR.

Great Quality - Down to Earth - Edit
A great place to have lunch in Frankfurt. Menu changes on a daily basis and meals are prepares with a high standard and a lot of commitment! Everytime a great experience to eat there and to enjoy the relaxed atmo :-)

Das Lokal ist von außen recht unscheinbar, kein Hinweis auf der Scheibe mit dem Hinweis vegetarisch oder vegan, da geht sicher etwas potentielle Laufkundschaft verloren. Mein Vorschlag wäre auf 100% vegan umzustellen und es schön fett an die Scheibe zu schreiben, habe in HappyCow nach Vegan gesucht und da war das Beetroot nicht dabei, erst bei der Suche nach Vegetarisch was ich eigentlich in der Regel nicht nutze sind wir auf den Laden aufmerksam geworden.

The food (green beans in tomato sauce with potatos and mixed salad) in the restaurant was good but nothing special. However, for 12€ for one plate of food and a beverage I expected something more. Unfortunately it was already a bit cold because the food is not prepared freshly but it is stored in thermal isolated boxes. I was the only guest in the restaurant and because there was no music or other background noises I felt a bit uncomfortable. I should add that I arrived half an hour before closing so maybe it was due to that.

Down-to-earth veg*n restaurant, mostly for daytime business folks. NO GARLIC! YAY! Cakes / brownies are not vegan (but vegetarian). Closes at 6 p.m. sharp. Friendly owner, around 30 seats inside. You may call in advance to order / reserve food. Excellent good self-made lemonade. Food is fine. Centrally located close to subway stop "Konstablerwache", i.e. in shopping area of inner city but in quiet side street.
