The vibes are great inside, super cosy and friendly, and they’ve tried with the vegan options but taste wise it was a little disappointing. Not bad if you’re in a pinch but a bit pricey in my opinion. Went during Christmas and it was great to see some festive vegan options.

Living in the town I know how few eating out options there are, so it’s good that The Bear do cater which I’m appreciative of.
Read moreThe food is good but it is at the very top end of the pricing for the meal you receive. There are a few Vegan and many vegetarian options, I had the Lebanese Flatbread with Koftas. It’s my coffee house of choice in the town so will continue to be a frequent customer. Sorry no photos.

I found it outrageously expensive for simple food. For fries and a salad, small to medium sized, it was £17! There weren’t many options either. I wouldn’t go back for food. #Veganuary

Glad it’s here, but could be better - Edit
Four of us had brunch here a month ago. Several of us had the bubble and squeak. Our friends had eaten the same dish there previously and they said it was very different. I wouldn’t have described it as bubble and squeak. It was super dry almost like dehydrated. There were several cake options. It’s a nice environment. Could do with more vegan options. Will try again in the future.

There are a few vegan options (but no vegan pancakes😒), I went for the bubble and squeak cakes and a blueberry Bakewell tart. Be aware that the bubble & squeak is VERY spicy - I'm normally quite good with spice but my tongue was burning. Vegan milks for coffee are free.

Good Vegan options in Uttoxeter - Edit
Although this isn’t a Vegan cafe, it does have better Vegan options than anywhere else in town. They have coffees, teas, smoothies, cocktails, beers, cakes, biscuits, mains such as falafel, pizza, wraps etc.
