Beware! - Edit
I went here for breakfast because it’s the only option in Florence. I was hoping to get the veggie supreme (veggies and vegan cream cheese on a bagel) but they said they only have prepped veggies for lunch. Okay, fine. But we did have a whole convo about me and my fiance being vegan. They upcharged us for vegan cream cheese, fine. My bagel came out first and I split it with my fiance before he decided to order a second one. When we got the second one, we noticed the cream cheese was marked “plant based” … which wasn’t case for the one I had just eaten. So despite talking to us about being vegan, up charging us for the vegan cream cheese, they still gave me regular cream cheese, which I ate — the first nonvegan food I’ve had in probably a decade. When I figured this out, I was visibly upset I guess because the staff did approach me and apologized, but the damage was done and I’ve had an upset stomach all day now. Just a massive bummer all around. I don’t want places to stop carrying vegan options, but it would be great if they educated the staff. OR, instead of only labeling the plant based cream cheese, label the dairy cream cheese as such so I would have seen the incorrect label myself. Anyway, great bagel and great coffee — if you decide to go here, just make sure you get the cream cheese labeled as plant based before eating it!

Local, fresh, delicious! - Edit
This is a great community spot. Usually pretty busy, but staff is very quick once you can get through the line to order. I love the other businesses surrounding, and the outdoor area where it connects to the Rail Trail. It’s great to have a casual place to meet with friends! The Supreme Veggie is my go-to, replacing the feta with the vegan cream cheese, and removing the honey. All of the drinks are delicious, and I love that their syrups are made in-house. They sell their simple syrup, as well! I’m moving soon, and will definitely miss this place.
