Bang For Your Buck - Edit
Portion sizes are big enough to share, so we shared the vegan plate and the pumpkin banana soup. Everything was positively packed with flavor. And for travelers on a budget, this place absolutely has a bang for your buck.

As I live close by I’ve been here more times than I can count and it’s always amazing.
Read moreThey have a big menu with a lot of dishes and the vegan menu is clearly marked out. They serve most of their dishes with peanut sauce so would not recommend the place to people with peanut allergy, though they also have an aubergine sauce (never tasted it though).
I always go for the Falafel wrap (Tamia) which has falafel balls, green salad, tomato and peanut sauce (spicy sauce can also be added). What I really like about it is that both the falafel get freshly fried and are super tasty but also that they double add the sauce, so it’s definitely not dry.
I would really recommend going here if you’re ever in the area and like falafel and peanut sauce. The prices are also very low and the falafel just cost 3,5 euro which is great as the wrap is still very fulfilling.

Read moreThe staff was friendly and accommodated my peanut allergy very well. Why would someone who has a peanut allergy go to a place where the peanut sauce is the main thing you might ask? Good question; I think the guy who took my order asked himself the same thing when I mentioned it. However, as I assured him, I am only slightly allergic to peanuts and therefore it's fine, and yes, I would even like to have some of that aubergine sauce that has a some small amount of peanuts in it that you mentioned. He wasn't really convinced by this, looked at me worriedly and asked me about four times if I was sure, but in the end he let me have my way and took the order with aubergine sauce (on the side, to be sure). It was lucky for me, since the aubergine sauce was delicious.
There's outdoor seating, you can get a falafel in bread for 3,50€ and a falafel plate for 6€ (which is what I got). Food is ready quickly and the vibe is very nice. The people eating there when I was there were all young, cool Berliners. And most importantly the food tastes great! Super nice place!

Quick, open late, filling, I guess it would taste better after a pub crawl at 2 in the morning, unfortunately I was sober. Falafel and aubergine paste were really nice (I added an extra star for these), the rest was greasy, quite tasteless, peanut sauce was ok. The falafel and tofu plate was €6, it was quite big and the late opening hours justify the price I guess. It's great that they have real plates and cutlery, less rubbish = awesome. Friendly staff. It's good that they have toilet although I'm not sure if I stayed to eat if I saw the toilet first. Dirty and doesn't lock which makes it tricky to use, especially for women.

Berlin has a lot of falafel places, but this one here stands out due to the great peanut sauce they put on everything. You could also get fried veggies or tofu instead or in addition to falafel. A perfect quick and filling snack late at night! Staff is very friendly as well.
