Very yummy! - Edit
We had a great time here with a family of vegans, vegetarians, pescatarians and meat eaters alike! There is great food for everyone. I was really impressed with the vegan appetizers and soups especially, the flavors were so unique and spiced perfectly. Would recommend.

Good food, but check your order before eating! - Edit
I always get the vegan momo and the soup, which is quite good, but last time we had a meat momo ordered as well for the non-veg person in our party, and there was clearly a mixup: the one labeled vegan was lamb and vice versa. Very unpleasant mistake so please be careful!

Good vege options, and the food was delicious and particularly well prepared - Edit

Read moreThis attractive family-style Nepalese restaurant has many vegetarian and vegan options. I was there for lunch (they offer a separate lunch menu); everything is prepared to order. The food was exceptionally tasty: the fresh veges were not overcooked, the sauce was complex and tasty, and the heat (you get to pick - I choose #5/ medium hot) was just right. It has attractive seating, and the prices were very reasonable. It is a much better than average Nepalese/Indian style restaurant, offering momos and other Tibetan choices as well.
Pros: tasty and well prepared vegetables, vegetarian sauces were complex , many dishes are gluten-free
Cons: could have a larger vegetarian selection

Delicious, wholesome, nourishing - Edit
I've never had Nepalese fusion food before, and I was actually astounded to see how many vegan dishes were clearly labeled and sounded delicious (ie not just hummus and veggies). I shared four dishes (a soup, a sweet potato dish, a tofu curry, and chia seed pudding) that were all extremely flavorful, filling, and clearly cooked freshly and with love. I will keep purchasing the vegan items on this menu instead of heavily relying on Postmates because they are that good (I'm talking better than bowls from veggie grill, by Chloe...). Now if you want a vegan burger or dinner food, this is not the establishment for you. But if you crave vibrant, flavorful, healthful dishes, please check out Base Crave! Furthermore, the owners and staff are absolute sweethearts and could use support in their initial opening in Huron Village.

Cons: Not 100% vegan
