Great moelleux sarrasin - Edit
Ive tried in the past their mango cake which was really good. This time I got their moelleux sarrasin praliné which is delicious. I wish they would do viennoiseries too

Barnabé is a bakery chain with four locations near Nantes.

I was able to see the ingredients in the vegan “Bettina” salad, which includes basmati rice, tahini sauce, chickpeas, and more. It's a perfect combination of vegetables and legumes.
Then there's the “BIANCA” sandwich, with eggplant caviar, marinated zucchini tagliatelle, chickpeas, and mint. It's a hearty and balanced sandwich!
This brand also has two pastries:
- “Coco mango”: coconut mousse, mango passion fruit, buckwheat biscuit, mango coulis, crispy puffed rice with dark chocolate.
- Moist buckwheat praline
and a sweet potato brioche that I enjoyed for breakfast at the hotel.

Didn't have vegan options when I was there. Might be because I went on a Sunday, maybe I just had bad luck. At least it's close to the tram station back to the center.

Je suisun peu déçue car j'ai testé cette boulangerie car elle a de bons commentaires et les photos donnaient envie. Il n'y avait aucun sandwich vegan, juste un curry et 2 desserts. L'ensemble était néanmoins bon.

They had plenty of vegan options, including vegan brioches and vegan cakes. Delicious and worth a visit. Menu included vegan sandwiches.

We visited the second branch at 148 Boulevard de la Liberté, Nantes, France. We easily pre-ordered online via their website and then collected, but you can just turn up and order too.

Car on pourrait déjà s'en satisfaire et pourtant, c'est tellement plus ! Barnabé propose de véritables créations originales de qualité. Récemment, le sandwich Poppy a fait son entrée aux côtés du Jojo Vegan, un genre de hot dog avec une carotte rotie : à tester absolument. Côté desserts, 3 différents moelleux sont désormais à l'affiche : Chocolat, Pistache ou Praliné Noisette (mon préféré). Et pour terminer en beauté, Barnabé propose un gâteau dessert "Vegan de toi" super original (Biscuit croustillant chocolat / Passion / Banane).

Because we could be happy with just this, yet Barnabé is so much more : They offer signature quality creations. Two vegan sandwiches, Jojo and recently added, Poppy : kind of a hot dog with a roasted carrot ! How badass. And delicious. On the sweet side, starring 3 different sponge cake (moelleux) : Chocolate, Pistachio and (my favourite) Hazelnut praline. Finally, Barnabé offers a very original cake called "Vegan de toi", made of a crusty chocolate biscuit, passion fruit and banana.
