Took way too long to go here, since I'm not a fan of plantains. Went for recent weekend brunch (newer development, not reflected in hours, brunch is 10 to 2 Saturday and Sunday). We had the Crispy Waffle Fries with Island Ranch, Wake and Bake sandwich, and the Mofongo & Mushroom BÉchamel plate (crazy delicious, serving size a bit small, but worth it). Will definitely go back for the normal dinner hours in the near future. Also had an oatmilk Cortado to complete the brunch experience.

We came here during happy hours and ordered a bunch of small plates/sides plus the buss up shut to share. Food was pretty good overall. Loved the waffle fries. The callaloo and the cornbread were alright. The chickpea curry from the buss up shut was a little bland. That said, the happy hours pricing can't be beat!

I was so excited to try this vegan restaurant when visiting Denver. I love the airy, Caribbean vibes, and the food was delicious. I wanted to try everything! I loved the cassareep rice bowl - it had great flavors, and was just a hint spicy with a nice sweet pineapple and crispy tofu. The cornbread was a little dry but had great flavor. And the curried waffle fries were great too! The drinks are also delightful and fun. I recommend the dirty banana cocktail for dessert!

The restaurant itself is very cute. It was a comfortable temperature inside in July, even with all the open air. Food was unique and tasty and I love that it's all vegan. Good but pricey drinks. Didn't expect the appetizer to be one big ball for us to share though haha.

All vegan all the time. I typically order items I don’t make at home and the Seitan Cuban was an exemplary choice. The barkeep special tequila drink embedded additional Caribbean essence into the experience. Highly recommend the trip to uptown utopia.
