Not only nice and cosy atmosphere, but incredible and tasty food. I always go there with my non- vegan friends and family and they always love the food there!

I was there many times and my only recommendation for you is: you should try everything! My fav is quesadilla with so much veg cheese and olives. It tastes like heaven on the earth :)

When you want to be sure you'll get great food, visit Balans. Quality of the food and creativity is amazing and it's very consistent, i've never been disappointed. Their veg-dogs are already legendary, burgers are amazing as well...also try the delicious thai curry soup. they have also daily lunch menu and are open during weekdays, which is not so common in Bratislava. Very generous portions and fair prices. Absolutely recommend to any vegan! It's not only the best vegan spot in Bratislava, but also one of the best vegan spots i've ever visited abroad.

This bistro is one of the best places to eat out in this city. You can choose from fixed offer of tasty vegan "junkfood" like burgers, veg-dogs, wraps, etc.

Best vegan bistro in Bratislava - Edit
I've been eating here for over a year now and I have to say that Balans makes the best vegan food in Bratislava. They change their menu daily while also having a fixed burger and quesadilla menu. They offer amazing lemonades and desserts as well. The only issue I have with this place is the service - I find the staff a bit unprofessional sometimes, which could definitely be improved by some training, but it's nothing too troublesome. I would definitely recommend checking it out.

I am so exited about this place! I ate my best meal since going vegan in there, they have so many options and friendly stuff. My brother who just don't think about going vegan love their food (and he is still pretty-much meat-eater who used to avoid vegan food)

I enjoyed this Vegan restaurant so much. I even brought food to take home. I been a Vegan over 43 years. And this was one if the best Vegan hotdogs and Vegan hamburger I ever tasted in all my Vegan years. It was wonderful.

Fantastic food, one of the best burgers I've had (balan burger) it's cheap (€16 for 2 meals with drinks). They have consistent burgers and quesadillas but then a changing traditional menu, I couldn't really understand this so played it safe!

everything i've had here is amazing. they do incredible burgers and quesadillas with rly good vegan cheese (my faves are the mushroom quesadilla and basic balans burger). fries and all the different dips are also 10/10.

I visited Bratislava for a few days and I've become addicted to their food - the best is the balans burger, but quesadillas, burritos and the vegdog were also good. Besides that the prices affordable. Strongly recommend.

The food here is out of this world! Took my brother there who eats meat and he really enjoyed the food! We ordered the soup of the day which was Thai soup and 2 of the burgers. My brother had the first on the menu and I had the third which was called the Mexican. Also had tea and raspberry lemonade which came beautifully presented! Definately come try this place- you certainly won't regret it!

Was happy to found a few vegan places in Bratislava. We have ordered a salad (was too oily for my taste) and a burger (tasted pretty good). I liked the presentation of the food and the prices are nice. Overall nice stop for vegans at Bratislava.
