Vegan choices are okay

The place is really nice to sit down for a coffee and one of the cozier ones to find in the city. Though there are a few vegan savoury choices like the pastry filled with mushroom or potato. There was not really a sweet option when we were there. And despite using a translation app, not sure if the staff really got it. But bread and coffee was really nice as well.

Finally, vegan Cake and Almond Milk!

I was so relieved to come here and find some delicious vegan cake (ask for vegan cake or постный торт) and soy milk!!! They also have some pastries wirh mushrooms, beans or potatoes and the typical eggplant with walnuts. Some western flair in Kutaisi.

Vegan coffe, savory pastries and lunch buffet

I went to this coffeeshop everyday of my stay in kutaisi. The first time I went the women who took my order was quite rude so I was a little intimidated at first but after I went the second time she was actually very friendly and understood the term vegan (before I had just asked her for every individual item if it contained milk, egg, butter, cheese, etc., because I assumed she wouldn't understand what vegan meant, maybe that'swhy she was annoyed with me).

Not only do they have soy milk for the coffee, the hot chocolate is also vegan (I checked the label of the choco powder with them haha) and some pastries are but the real surprise was when I went around the corner of the pastry counter and found a a second counter with a lot of buffet style homemade geogian food. Only one of the signs was in english but it did say vegan on it so I asked her if any of the other food was vegan too and most of it was.
It is cold but there is a sign that they will warm it up for you. I liked most of what I had, a lot was very walnut heavy. I ended up eating 2 plates and paid around 15 Lari.

The place itself is very nice aswell and seems to be quite popular with the young people of kutaisi, I always saw people studying, co-working, reading, etc.. Also its in a good central location to explore the sights if the town.

Pros: vegan coffee + hot chocolate, affordable homecooked food, cute coffeeshop with good vibes

Cons: most workers don't speak a lot of english
