Would rate 5 stars if I could - Edit
First of all, I understand why we can’t rate a non veg restaurant 5 stars. However, some of the best vegan food I’ve had has been at omni restaurants.
Read moreI’ve been living in Taiwan for the last 2.5 years, and the veg Mexican/Tex-Mex options there are pretty abysmal. Even the only veg Mexican restaurant in Taiwan is a huge let down. Perhaps it’s because I’ve eaten so much bland and boring vegan Mexican food over the last few years of living in Asia, but this blew my expectations out of the water.
The flavors were spot on to what I remembered Baja Fresh tasting like back in California. Funny thing is back then, I would never have considered Baja Fresh to be the best option available. I have also lived in AZ, and married into a Chicano family. So I’ve eaten a lot of Mexican food in my lifetime haha. My expectations are high. But of course take that with a grain of salt, considering the awful veg Mexican scene in Taiwan has probably ruined me 😂
I ordered the burrito bowl with veggies & guacamole, as well as the chips & salsa. Can’t go wrong with that!
Definitely go if you’re craving a taste of home.
Pros: Large portions with vegan options, Flavorful and well-seasoned, Good salsas
Cons: A bit over-salted and oily but that can be a pro, No tofu or veg meat options

Poor service, 80% of burrito was just rice - Edit
80% of burrito was just rice, 15% beans and the rest veggies, prices are without tax, so $12.95 goes to $15.25. staff very unfriendly. Worst burrito I have ever had.
Read morePros: Open after 10pm (until 11pm)
Cons: Expensive, unfriendly, untasty

Only if you are really really craving Mexican food. - Edit
American Mexican fast food joint of the bland sterile variety. If you know the difference between quality authentic Mexican food and the faux kind this place will make you gag. It will however somewhat satisfy cravings but not entirely. Props to them for having veg options though.

Cons: Watered down versions of the real thing, Expensive , Serves meat

Some of the best Tex-Mex in Sg - Edit
This place is great. It's open super late and has consistently good food. Veg-wise you can get a taco salad, burritos, fajitas pretty much anything on the menu. The salsa is self serve and you get chips with any order.

Go here if you’re craving Mexican. - Edit
Located in the Rendezvous Hotel. Lots of vegetarian options. More like a fast food place than an actual restaurant. A little expensive for what it was. The tacos and nachos hit the spot however. Lots of pepper seasoning within the salsa. The server kept walking round aimlessly which made me feel anxious.

Greasy Mexican, worth a visit - Edit
Veggie friendly Mexican restaurant worth visiting! We had burritos, quesidillas, and margaritas (two for one!), and some chips and dip free of charge while to wait. All the food was good and greasy, but my burrito exploded the second I picked it up.

Vegan-friendly - Edit
Baja Fresh is a vegan friendly non-Vege restaurant. The staff understands what is vegan but you might still need to explain the part about no cheese.
