Good flavours and nice ambience, but overall underwhelming experience. Ordered the Nature Fried Kuey Teow and a glass of water, but wasn’t given the water. When I asked, they said it costs 50 cents for a cup of water. Could count on one hand the pieces of mock meat and mushrooms in the dish.

I love this location—it’s perfect for both locals and tourists alike. The café boasts an al fresco dining area overlooking a beautiful, spacious lawn, with the National Museum of Singapore just within sight.
It’s an ideal spot to unwind, soak in the surroundings, or indulge in a quiet afternoon tea on a sunny day or dinner.
Nature Café, formerly located at Aperia Mall, has been at SMU for quite some time now.
I’m glad I finally had the chance to stop by and relish their delicious vegetarian offerings. Their menu remains unchanged, and the weekday lunch special—featuring a tempting SGD $2 add-on promotion—looks like a great deal!
SMU is fairly large, so finding this vegetarian gem might take a little navigation. Just keep in mind that it’s a short walk from the National Museum of Singapore and Bras Basah MRT station, right next to the Lazada One Building.
Operating hours: 10.30am - 9pm (Sunday closed).

Very nice guy serving. Service would improve further if management educated servers re difference between vegan and vegetarian. I had a bowl of herbal soup, it was tasty.

It is to the side of the university library. There is an option to sit outside. There are a lot of choices. Food is ready quickly and i loved my mushroom sateh.
