Was it the best Banh Mi I’ve had in Vietnam - no. But the price was good and the generous pieces of avocado and tofu was appreciated. Food also took a while to come out.

We tried both the tofu vegetable and the tofu mushroom bahn mi. The tofu vegetable was way better. Add avocado for 10k.

Best banh mi and smoothies in Tam Coc - Edit
The smoothies with coconut milk are on point. Best smoothie I've had and we went to Thailand and Cambodia also.

Best Banh mi we had in Vietnam with tofu and papaya. The fried rice is also good, as well as the fried spring rolls, though not as outstanding as the Banh mi. The vegetarian Pho was tasteless though. The smoothies can be made with coconut milk instead of cow milk, the mango one was great.

Amazing peanut tofu bahn mi - Edit
There was a long power cut in Ninh Binh but we ventured out to try and find some food and landed here. There was obviously no light so we had a torch-lit dinner, and so unfortunately didn't get to see the cool decor that the other reviewers have talked about.
Read moreI think we'd have been grateful for any cooked food, but this was probably my favourite bahn mi we've had in Vietnam so far. We both went for tofu and mushroom, and weren't disappointed. The mushrooms were small and stringy which added a nice texture, though made it quite hard to bite through the baguette. The bread was really good, and a decent size too.
We're really grateful to the owners for cooking for us in the dark, and would definitely recommend the bahn mi here.
We also returned the next day and had the peanut butter tofu bahn mi which was phenomenal.

Wish I could give 5 stars. Finally a saucy yummy Banh mi. My favourite yet in Vietnam. Toasted bread, and such friendly staff. They were so sweet. I will go back again and try the drinks too!

We came here for lunch, ordered banh mis: one with tofu and veggies and one with tofu, veggies and mushrooms. And we ordered a cold Vietnamese coffee with coconut milk.
Read moreThe coffee tasted amazing and the coconut milk in it was thick and frothy.
The bánh mis were simple but very tasty. It was the first bánh mi we ate that had pickled veggies. They were prepared freshly.
We definitely plan on coming back here!

I was happy that only two other people were in that restaurant since I had to wait 20 minutes for my Bahn Mi. I don't know how long I've had to wait if more people would have been here. The Bahn Mi Mushroom/Tofu was really good but you really have to like mushrooms because they kind of overload the Bahn Mi with that. Also for 10k you can add avocado.
