Good food - Edit

The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The food was good, not really authentic indian in my opinion, but good. The uttapan was the best we had. They could improve more in the kitchen.

Really good! - Edit

We went to Baba’s twice in a week and loved it! They have great veggie vegan options.

The service is very quick, unlike a lot of restaurants in Hoi An. The veggie dopiaza was lovely and veggie pakoras were really tasty. I would definitely come here again!

Pros: Reasonably priced, Quick service , Friendly staff

Wonderful - Edit

Really great, authentic Indian food. This place isn't vegan, so obviously be vigilant about asking what items are vegan. Their naan is made with milk so make sure to order the roti! Also, the dessert they bring is not vegan. Let them know you don't eat milk and they will bring watermelon instead.

Average and expensive... - Edit

One of the staff members can clearly tell you everything that is vegan on the menu, which is great! The food wasn't bad but was quite average. Very small curry portions and rice is 20k extra. Some of the other staff members bring stuff to you which isn't vegan, so check before you eat the sauces, dessert, etc.

Pros: Vegan options

Cons: Small portions, expensive for what you get...

great meal - Edit

We had aloo chat and paper dosa, both tasted great. Free spinach pakora and a free small desert were provided. Very friendly staff. I would like to give 5stars, but I am not allowed to because it is not completely vegetarian. Plenty of veg options though!

Great curry! - Edit

Although not a veggie place the staff totally get veganism and will help with the menu. Had a very tasty (and spicy!) meal.

I would give it 5/5 - Edit

This place is absolutely delicious. The staff is amazing and they’ll do anything to give you a fantastic meal. The curry portions are quite big and they give you an appetiser and dessert. The dessert was not vegan so the waiter went straight to the kitchen to get me some watermelon. Lovely!

Best Indian food ever - Edit

I would give 5* but happy cow only allows 4* for non-veg places.

The food is incredible. The waiter (or owner?) was very knowledgeable about what was vegan and happy to help adapt food to suit preferences.

My food was with 0 spice and 100% flavour, perfect! It felt clean/healthy and not at all oily.

They gave a complimentary starter and dessert too (although the dessert wasn't vegan, contained milk).

Great attention to detail, very friendly and attentive. Will definitely come back

Pros: Incredible food, Knowledgeable about vegan food , Very friendly

Cons: Food takes a little longer as it's cooked fresh, b

Waiters undertand veganism and can help with menu. We picked out dishes and he asked chef if can be done for us - no problem. Dosa are great too. Food is fresh and flavourful. love it!

This is some of the best Indian food I've ever had. If the max rating for non vegetarian restaurants wasn't 4 stars I'd give it 5.

Pros: lots of vegan/vegetarian options, free starter/dessert , great service/atmosphere

Would rate 5 stars if I could ! - Edit

The best Indian food we've had hands down! And we love Indian food!! We are vegetarian tho, so we are okay with Ghee, however just asked and they can do most things vegan! They speak good English, everything is really flavourful and you get a free starter and dessert

Delicious Indian cuisine - Edit

We went here after talking to a member of staff who was promoting the restaurant outside, he told us most the vegetarian dishes can be made vegan (all dishes with ghee are listed). We had the vege vindaloo, aubergine curry and the hottest curry on the menu. They were all really good and came with a complimentary vegan starter.

The man taking our order understood the vegan diet and said he would tell the chef no dairy. The staff were also really friendly.

Pros: Friendly , Delicious food/free water, Understood vegan

Cons: A little pricey for vietnam
