Nice little Ethiopian restaurant

Nice, simple, family Ethiopian restaurant with a choice for a vegan dish. As it was my first time at an Ethiopian restaurant, I did not know what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised.

Cozy and tasty

This Ethiopian restaurant is really a warm and humble spot, not so far from the central station and perfect for a cozy evening with friends/family or a date.

The menu degustation vegetarian is actually vegan and very tasty. I would really recommend it if you like sharing plates and it's really filling for around 20 chf per person.

Pros: Cozy atmosphere , Food is really good, Central

Super bon!

Mini-holiday in Africa with delicious food and kind service

This place is one of my favourite restaurants in Geneva. The prices are moderate for this part of the world, the food is delicious, waiters are always very kind. The restaurant is simple and cosy. Once a week there is a traditional night with dancers and live music. My favourite dish is shiro. They also have a special tea which is worth trying. Highly recommended.

Pros: Delicious food, large portions, Kind people, Good location

Delicious Ethiopian food

The vegan dish is amazing, very tasty and fills you out easily! The prices are affordable too, especially if you go with a group of people and share a degustation plate (very big).

authentic ethiopian food

nice selection of vegan dishes. tasty but not super flavourful. close to the M4 ferry which is a nice excuse for the trip. no non-alcoholic drinks though. just tap water. large portion sizes and no extra charge for a little more food. nice staff. good value for money by swiss standards.

Pros: multiple vegan options, authentic, not too expensive

Cons: no non-alcoholic drinks

Dining Experience

Traveling back from Chamonix with friends, this restaurant provided a great dining experience for both plant and meat eaters. The authentic Ethiopian food mixed with the double language barrier proved interesting. I wasn't sure what a red martini would consist of, but I was confident in my choice of the spinach. The spongy bread that accompanies the food was the perfect silverware.

Pros: Several Choices, Cozy atmosphere, Delicious and an adventure in dining

Cons: Language challenges

Tasty vegan food

This was the nearest place from Geneva's botanical garden that had vegan options, so I decided to try it. The food was different from my experiences, the tradition is to eat with your hands, totally worth the try. The food was good and at a reasonable price for the expensive switzerland. Also, visit the botanical garden ;)

Pros: Vegan options

Cons: No english menu

Delicious

The authentic little restaurant has a big dégustation plate (listed as vegetarian but in fact vegan) with some spicy lentil sauce, an orange lentil stew, fried veggies (kale + carrots), spinach and some other delicious sauce (Wot) . It is severed on the typical Ethiopian bread injera. It is perfect because you can try everything without missing any flavor. Love it!

An authentic Ethiopian place with great service!

We came here in early Jan 2017 for a vegan meal (vegetarian menu for 2 44CHF. The food was so delicious, we ordered seconds. The service was very good, although we don't speak French and they don't speak much English we still felt welcomed, looked after and fed. I would recommend embracing the culture and eating with your hands whilst sharing the plater.
