Serves meat, vegan options available. Cafe offering vegan options for sandwiches, soups, breads, and baked goods such as brownies. Has plant milk for coffee. Open Mon-Fri 7:00am-6:00pm, Sat-Sun 8:00am-4:00pm.
Shockingly few vegan options considering the menu - Edit
This location is newly renovated and lovely. Staff was very nice and working hard! However, the menu....Everything required modification except for a lone soup special and a brownie. Not even the hummus sandwich was vegan. A place with such lovely salads, soups and sandwiches made with fresh ingredients should be able to come up with a few vegan options or at least be brave enough to list vegan variations on the menu. Also...if you are going to charge me more for oatmilk in my coffee, then give me a discount for omitting the goat cheese from my avocado toast?
Atwater’s always has a vegan and vegetarian soup. Unfortunately, that is the only consistent part about it. There are usually a couple of vegetarian sandwiches that rely heavily on cheese, and there may be one vegan option. The menu rotates seasonally, which is nice, but there is no commitment to having a vegan option. Gluten free bread is available.
