Comforting

It’s been an exhausting few days trying to get home from the Faroe Islands; all flights have been cancelled due to high winds. Coming to this cafe really refreshed me. The cobble stone walls, low ceilings, wood finishes, and candle light was charmingly Nordic. The beverage was warm and comforting and the server was really kind. And even though a bread roll with jam seems like too simple a vegan option, it was actually delicious. The bread roll was warm and the toasted sesame seeds gave it a nutty, aromatic aroma and taste. The raspberry jam was homemade and it showed. Really happy I came here, even if for something simple.
