Unfortunately I have to confirm the impressions of the others lately. It is still a decent Falafel, but is not even close to as good as it has been until a few years ago. Way to many sour components, like cabbage in vinegar, pickeld beets and pickles. Portions also smaller then before and the places to sit at are quite dirty. Sad to see it like this.

My sister who was visiting said this was the best falafel sandwich she's ever had. Reliably great, crunchy falafel, with a thick pita and yummy toppings. I like to get it with the eggplant slices. Very big portions and very filling!

Ich hatte den falafel mit hummus und Auberginenscheiben. War alles sehr soßig und fettig, lecker. Meine Begleitung meinte, es wäre früher noch besser gewesen. Ist vermutlich sinnvoll dazuzusagen, dass es vegan sein soll.

Love this place, I make sure to go here whenever I'm in Frankfurt, and I get jealous if my boyfriend goes without me. It's always a struggle whether to choose a falafel sandwich or the vegetarian plate. The plate is huge with a selection of falafel, hummus, salads, and halloumi incl. 2 pita breads, it's big enough to share.
Read moreIt's usually very busy, especially in summer and since it's only a kiosk outside with just a small seating area it can be difficult finding a seat. So worth it though.
Update August 2022:
Still the best falafel in town but Aroma no longer serves plates, only pita sandwiches. There's also no seating area outside anymore so you need to take your falafel to the park or elsewhere.

Since I know and love this place for more than 15 years - what can I tell you: you gonna taste the love of food! The owner had an all vegan branch too. Hope one day day he will go all vegan in the main shop.

Best falafel wrap in town - Edit
This place definitely serves the best falafel wrap in Frankfurt! So be aware of that because there tend to be huge queues in front of the small kiosk where you can take away your food. Vegans can have the falafel wrap with hummus for 5€ and could add eggplant if they want.

Love this place in a sunny day. Be prepared, it has only got an outdoor seating area and the line at lunchtime can get quite long. They are very matter of fact - no frills but very good food. It’s a Frankfurt classic.

I love their falafel so much, especially with babaganoush (eggplant) and go here way more than I should. Most of my friends say it's the best falafel in Frankfurt and I definitely second that. I'd give 5* if I could.
