Veganes authentisches und preiswertes Restaurant - Edit
Very tasty, completely vegan restaurant serving Thai cuisine. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. There are over 10 different dishes that can be combined and served with rice. We enjoyed it so much and everything was so good that we went there three of four evenings. There are also some very tasty meat alternatives. The price is also very good. In total 10/10! And I'm already looking forward to eating there again at the end of my trip. I can definitely recommend it and not just for vegans and vegetarians.

Very good! - Edit
Lovely restaurant, staff is very friendly and they have a good amount of options most of them with some tofu or mock meats. Rice with three servings is 70 baht. Food is tasty and usually still warm.

Oldest vegetarian restaurant in the city - Edit
They are the oldest vegetarian restaurant and opened up in the 80s. Tasty food, however one portion size was inadequate for me. So you may wanna grab a second helping. Prices are decent. The guy running this place is very sweet and kind. A must visit considering all the history this space holds.

Cheap but good street food - Edit
Very cheap food, everything vegan except that they offer honey. Unfortunately the food was being served cold, as it stays there the whole day.

Fun and tasty - Edit
The man serving us was very nice and explained what was in the different dishes. We each got three different dishes over rice for 70 baht. Then got a bunch of stuff to go to eat for breakfast the next day. He threw in another to go dish for free! Awesome place and had been around since the 80s

It's adequate - 7/10 - Edit
The food here didn't blow me away and there didn't seem to be as much variety as the other reviews suggested, it can be filling though, but the food I was served was just okay and the price I paid for it didn't blow me away either

One of our faves in the city - Edit
Amazing value for money. You get to choose 3 vegetable/tofu dishes and he will say what is spicy. Spicy was medium spicy, not the most we’ve had in the country so far (ask the people at the Vegetarian Society market what is spicy lol).
Read moreAll the options we chose were yummy, hard to explain which they were because it changes every day haha. All of them had a certain depthness in flavor, reminded me a lot of the vegetarian buffets and small locals restaurants in Taiwan (so some of the spices are probably the same, it tasted more like Chinese food than Thai food to me).
We paid 180 baht for 2 plates a plate of soy strips (they had a large plate full of soy based protein stuff and my partner chose one of the darker ones, the man running the restaurant cut it up in pieces).
Only downside I would say is that it closes relatively early, so only suitable for lunch and early dinners (or linner😉)

[6⭐️] The meal we will remember from Thailand - Edit
Our best meal. One of our favorites ever, in fact. We liked it so much that we went there twice in a 5 hour stretch on our last day in BKK, and we would go back every day if we were here longer. The very nice woman who ran the place seemed to be amused by us and just kept bringing us random stuff, especially when we came back for lunch later in the day. We paid like 200 baht on each visit for way more than enough food for two people. We tried about 10 different dishes between our two visits between the both of us and everything was just amazing. The people there can very vaguely speak English enough to get by but basically you just point at stuff and they’ll put it on your plate. Or just ask what they like and let them give you whatever. Exceptionally nice people & authentic homecooked food

Yummy!! 😋 - Edit
Made a pit stop for lunch since I was in the area and boy did it not disappoint! I definitely have to make my way back again and try more of their delicious options. I honestly don’t know what I picked, I just know that two of the 3 sides were supposedly spicy (though I didn’t find them to be). For 70 THB (rice your choice of 3 sides) you can’t go wrong with whatever you decide!
Read morePros: Very affordable (3 sides + rice for 70 THB), Many options to choose from

Very tasty, good portions and very cheap - Edit
Very tasty. You get some rice (either white or some purple one) and can choose 3 items to go with it. Most meals contains tofu and lots of vegetables. The owner speak English and will describe the items and tell you if they are spicy or not. One plate cost 70B but you can ask for a smaller one which cost 60B, but that is not really worth it.
Read moreWe had almost not eater anything at noon so we took two plates each, the owner gifted us another tofu bowl, and in the end we had almost eaten too much, so it is very worth the very low price.
The food is very tasty, we hadn’t eaten something as good for a while.

This place is a real gem 💎
Read moreWe ate here 3 days in a row and honestly if I had to eat food here everyday for the rest of my life I'd be happy!
Buffet style so earlier the better for freshness and options. This restaurant was one of the first veggie places in Bangkok and the walls are covered in awards and lonely planet articles where they have been recognised. We asked the owner for her recommendation (rice with three toppings) and all of it was delicious. You must also try the crispy fried mushroom in the little bags- she said they are a local famous dish. Seriously yummy, really cheap. Staff are lovely 😊

Ah, this restaurant was also one of my favorites when I lived in Bangkok. The elderly lady who owns it was so kind to me. I hope she stays healthy, and we can meet again someday. Please send my regards to her if you go back. Terima kasih! 😊
