Hard to judge - Edit
It was our last night in Mazunte and seems like a lot of places are closed on wednesdays, so we were happy to go and try Arena Negra. Was excited to try the Tofu Curry and my partner had the Eggplant Rice. It was pretty hectic and the waitress already told us, that food could take longer as all guests arrived at the same time. We were chill, so this wasn‘t an issue. Overall it took 50min and food was OK. Nothing special or extraordinary. Price were a little higher but portion size was good.

Pretty expensive for small portions - Edit
The food was nothing special, the eggplant was extremely sour and didn't taste good at all. We left hungry because the portions are very small.

Food is not tasty - Edit
Food is expensive. Food tastes really bad. Had a hard time to finish up the curry. Didn't even like the beans.

Delicious vegan curry - Edit
Wonderful place! A lovely terrace in the heart of Mazunte. The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious, probably the best in town. Highly recommended.

Amazing Curry - Edit
I stumbled across this restaurant and am so happy I found it. The menu has a special section for vegetarian and vegan dishes. I tried the curry and was delighted - this might be the best vegan coconut tofu curry that I’ve ever had. It was a great price too (about $100 MXN), given how large the serving one and the nice ambiance. The restaurant provides little bowls of spiced peanuts to munch on while waiting for your meal. The entrance to the restaurant is a little hard to find since the spiral staircase is located a few metres down the Barrita alleyway.
