very good - Edit
Vegetarian restaurant with a macrobiotic influence, almost vegan (rarely serves eggs or goat cheese) and with amazing desserts. Love it! If you reserve (by telephone or email) they can deliver the lunch to you (at home or at work within Parma city). Open at lunch from Monday to Friday and at dinner on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday night.

Compose your own vegan delight - Edit
Apriti Sesamo is a natural bio restaurant serving mostly vegan lunches and desserts, with many gluten free options.
Read moreThere's a standard lunch menu price which allows you to choose three of the many items on the menu (three choices of carbs, three different proteins, four different salads).
We ate all vegan and almost gluten free and every item was very tasty, with a particular seasoning and texture. Menu changes daily so dish compositions are infinite!
All the desserts were also vegan and to die for: Italian decadence with bio and vegan ingredients :-)
Little vegan haven in the land of ham and cheese.

Simply excellent! - Edit
I have been lunching at Apriti Sesamo every day for 10 years, now that should tell you something :). Menu is changed every single day and lunch is cheap (full meal 12 to 18 euro). All ingredients are totally organic, kitchen and dining room so clean you could eat off the floor. And it's 90% vegan. Through the years, chef Mimmo has become really creative and a meal there, besides being really tasty, is nutritionally balanced (that's how I've survived so long!). You'll be amazed at the deserts; totally lacto-uovo-sugar FREE and so tasty. Most patrons are NOT vegetarians but lunch there daily for taste, quality and value so the place is frequently full, but Antonella who manges it with a mixture of "rigore & simpatia" will always find you a table. The regulars are all friends and we share tables and chat so if you can't find a table we'll host you too ! To conclude: I hereby decalre that I am biased but I do travel the world and always search for veggie restaurants. I have rarely found one comparable in quality to Apriti Sesamo.
