Overpriced/small portions but hey, options

Even though I made a reservation, I waited nearly 30 minutes for a table. The place was packed and very loud. Service was fast once seated. Several vegan options; I got the ravioli which was fine but not tasty or big enough to warrant the $31 price tag. Basically, a decent option in the North End when with an omni group, but I’d choose elsewhere next time.

Pros: Authentic Italian , North End vibes , Several options

Cons: Too expensive for what you get, even for North End, Long wait with reservation, So noisy that I couldn’t talk with my group

Ravioli

One of the few Italian spots in north end where vegans have choice. Loads of options so great if you’re with omnivores. I got the ravioli and it was okay but can’t knock it for having the options.

Don't eat here

Vegans, I went here after my planned spot to eat was randomly closed. Their website boasts several vegan options. Once in the restaurant, the servers didn't know what vegan was. I had to ask the server several times what they had for vegan cheese options and he forgot to ask the kitchen. The other server couldn't tell me the ingredients in the bread to know if it was safe to eat. I started to tell they don't know what vegan is and I was worried they would serve me non vegan food. Plus plate prices were $28+ so to be potentially served non vegan food, I was weary. It said the risotto could be made vegan. I asked the server what they do to make it vegan, he said they would make it with cheese and milk. So they clearly don't know why vegan means. So to be safe, don't eat here.

Cons: They don't know what vegan means. , Very high priced for them to just take cheese off , Servers don't know their menu

Traditional italian restaurant. Only a couple of vegan options but very flavorful. The staff is very knowledgeable concerning vegan dishes.

So good I went two nights in a row

This place has the best Italian food I've ever had at a restaurant in the United States. Although they do serve a lot of meat, their vegan food is just excellent. Even before you order, you get delicious warm sourdough bread, accompanied by really tasty, green olive oil. The pasta with tomato sauce was amazingly good (it can be hard to find really good tomato sauce)! You can ask for vegan cheese on it, which was good as well, and the portions are large. Also they have really nice vegetable sides such as broccoli rabe. I didn't try the pizza, but supposedly they are known for good pizza. I will say that the vegan meatballs were not as good as the other options I tried -- they were overly salty. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant!

Pros: Amazingly tasty tomato sauce, Delicious sourdough bread and olive oil, abundant vegetable sides

Cons: They serve a lot of meat

Vegan options including pizzas but not impressed by their vegan cheese

Antico Forno is a sought-after spot in Little Italy, so it's best to make a reservation to eat there. The menu offers several vegan options, from pizzas to pasta dishes, including the daily menu, which always has a vegan starter, main course and dessert. I originally thought I'd go for the vegan ravioli, but the sight of the Neapolitan pizzas changed my mind. So I went for the vegan cheese pizza but regretted it. The vegetables didn't have much taste and the vegan cheese wasn't at all melting or fatty. The pasta looked much better, after all.

Pros: vegan options clearly labelled, three-course daily menu includes vegan options

Cons: vegan cheese is neither melting nor tasty, average pizzas

Amazing pasta but no vegan cheese

Made reservations, and when arriving the wait was at least 1 hr . Would absolutely recommend reservations on their website. I ordered fresh tomato pasta made vegan without cheese and it was divine. Overall extremely busy restaraunt as it seems they recently had to close the covid patio in the street and instead the overflow standing room is in the back near the bar and bathrooms.

Pros: Multiple vegan options

Cons: Very busy hostess stand, Very long wait time, No vegan cheese

Good options

I came here because I saw on the menu they had many vegan options! The vegan options are clearly labeled but they don’t have vegan cheese but they didn’t seem to care if you brought your own cheese! they also have plant based meat balls that are super good

Pros: good amount of vegan options , meatballs. , good prices

Cons: no cheese
