Really liked there small salad with strawberries. It was the first time I ate Poutine, which was also very enjoyable. The lasagna was fine, and the carrot cake was a bit boring.

A vegan restaurant with a small but nice card that changes regularly. Our 4-year old was really into their nachos but still managed to eat some of his nuggets, hah... I agreed with him, really nice nachos with great melty vegan cheese! We actually didn't mind the 'standard' nuggets option for kids, as kids can be difficult sometimes so fries & nuggets are a good option to have. We both had the poutine fries which were good (better than the vegan ones I had from a Canadian fast food chain a few years ago). Their banoffee dessert is to die for, I'm so glad I left some space for it in my stomach, hahaha!

It's all about the burgers here. Ramen looked good too. Fries are really nice. Beer on draught and very friendly staff, make this a lovely burger place for vegans.

I would like to be more supportive because there are few vegan restaurants in Lille, but both of us had severe stomach ache after visiting this place. My burger was OK (I wish parts of it was home made but felt like any fast food burger), my boyfriend didn't want to finish his. The buckwheat pancakes were stellar! If mains and desserts would meet halfway?

Seating capacity is impressive at around 50.
I liked the decor and the attentive service.
In short, this is the place to go for inventive cuisine in Lille.

Read moreThe food is all vegan, so it's nice you do not have to worry about that, since they are pretty specialized in making things getting pretty close to what people are used to eat as non-vegan.
It is an amazing experience to taste what they are capable of making being all vegan.
Some dishes with cheese are quite heavy, order slowly😄

J'ai goûté le Burger avec du faux poisson et une tarte au citron, c'était délicieux et copieux. Niveau prix ce n'est pas le plus abordable mais on retrouve des alternatives rares (comme.le faux poisson, ou fausse mozza) !

Annie's Kitchen fait partie des rares adresses vegan de Lille. Ils ont pris le parti de végétaliser des recettes traditionnelles. Je pense y retourner un jour en espérant qu'ils aient moins recours aux produits transformés.

The food here was lovely. I got the mushroom bourguignon and my friends all got burgers, then we had speculoos cheesecake. I felt like the portion sizes were good. Just had a lemonade, but they had a decent cocktail menu.

We’ve had dinner at Annie’s kitchen twice now over two years and it’s been amazing both times! From poutine(loaded fries) to lasagne, hummus platter and most recently Mac ‘n cheese, they know how to cook great vegan food! We had a panna cotta for dessert and it was the best vegan dessert I’ve had maybe ever. Definitely worth the walk into Wazemme!

We always forget that in Lille restaurants close after 2 pm, so when we left the museum we had just visited we rushed towards the Rue Leon Gambetta. With summer holidays going on not every restaurant was open, but thankfully even without a reservation we were still welcome here at 1.30 pm. The menu wasn't very big, and prices all seem to be around 15 e uro. We had a fish burger and a classic burger, both came with fries. Even though both the burgers and the fries were very tasty, it wasn't the best we ever tried, and that price wasn't entirely justified in our opinion.

Annie’s kitchen is kind of a bouj fest. The food was quite an impressive standard for the town of Lille, as there weren’t many options at all here. It wasn’t as mind blowing as it looks, but they were trying new things which is greatly appreciated. We got a Mac and cheese and a Caesar salad.

The Mac and cheese was ok, but not the best we have had (we’ve had a lot of Mac and Cheeses). I believe there was a kind of mayo drizzled in it which didn’t really work.
I was going to give 3 stars, but it felt wrong because they are only one of the only vegan restaurants in all of Lille. I have only now realised I need to factor in something else in my ratings while travelling - something like “locational context”. where establishments get extra points if they are one of the only vegan places in their area. In this way I am not allowed to be as harsh (or more harsh in a high vegan density city).
Therefore niki_nine gives Annie’s kitchen 3 stars 1 for locational context =4 stars

Ce restaurant est juste une pépite ! Le personnel est super sympa et à l’écoute. Les plats sont recherchés, et avec la touche d’Annies Kitchen ! C’est généreux, bien présenté… bref un vrai régal !

Ne passez pas à côté ! Et il y’a des burgers de fou (avec du papondu (simili œuf), du redefine meat (viande végétale 3D) et plein d’autres choses !

We visited here twice during our trip to Lille. Both times we didn’t have a reservation but the staff did their best to accommodate us. Delicious food, great wine, wonderful atmosphere. Brunch was superb. I loved the dogs that are there too! I recommend making a reservation for a table to avoid disappointment
