Absolutely Fantastic and Highly Recommendable Dining Experience - Edit
Even though this place is not completely vegan, more than half the dishes on the menu are or can be made vegan. At first glance the prices are high, but once the food arrives, you know why. The quality is incredible with very innovative dishes and as an earlier review indicates, Michelin-quality.

Exceptional vegan dishes! Lovely restaurant, with good service and changing menu, which was mostly vegan. Such a nice surprise in this area, where it is quite difficult to find vegan options. Dishes were creative and well made. If you see the pavlova on the menu, don't dare to skip it, absolutely amazing!

Best meal I’ve had. Ever! - Edit
The food was amazing! We ordered tofu triangles with aubergine, mushrooms, noodles and sweet potato. The tofu had a black sesame and ginger coating. The dish was delicious. For dessert we ordered chocolate mousse and the macaroon with raspberry and blackberry. The meal would have been amazing without the dessert, but the desserts were spectacular! All but 1-2 items on the menu were vegan. I’d make a huge detour to eat here if travel plans ever brought me close again. It would be worth dealing with the crowds in St Malo. The food at Annadata was great!

Since France is not particularly known for its great vegan restaurants …. This one really needs to be mentioned and praised 🙂! It’s located inside the old fortress - small place with a couple of tables outside. We tried everything that was vegan( 5 out of 6 dishes). You can order a menu and it comes with an amuse bouche. The food is way above average- just wonderful.

Entré was a cucumber slice topped with betroot and oat cream purée.
Dessert was an irresistible apple tarte with caramel and plant cream.

We were excited to try this one out as there were many great reviews but we thought the food was rather disappointing. Almost everything we had ranged from okayish to very bland. Maybe we were unlucky with the menu at that time.

Giving 3 stars because the personnel was almost happy to reject us one night when we came in without reservation, although there were only 2 tables taken. The second time we came (with reservation), we arrived 15 minutes earlier and they also couldnt receive us because they had to vacuum ¯_(ツ)_/¯ … but we came back a bit later and it was fine.

Restaurant tout simplement incroyable ! Tout y est : l'atmosphère, la présentation, les saveurs... le tout quasi exclusivement vegan (1 seul dessert végétarien à la carte ce week-end et aux choix 2 entrées, 2 plats, 2 desserts, tout vegan 😊). Une très belle expérience, un très bon accueil et un grand bravo à la cheffe.

Wanted to find somewhere in St Malo to cater for my vegan tastes but also suitable for vegetarian and meat eating family members. The food was great and everyone enjoyed it. The service was excellent. Discerning meat eating partner and children enjoyed the food. A great dining experience. Worth phoning ahead to book because it was fully booked when we arrived to take up our reservation. They asked whether any of us were vegan / vegetarian when I booked.
