Great place - Edit
This is a great place for vegans. The food is really tasty. Everything is made in house and there are many gluten free options. You can eat in or take out. The woman who took our order and made our food was really nice and very accomodating.. She is also the owner. We were in Penticton for four days. We had lunch from the Angry Vegan twice and dinner once.

Went to this place 3 times while I was in town and loved it. They use whole food ingredients and the staff is super friendly! Had the burger and both burritos and they were all good. Highly recommend the potato salad😄

We ordered takeout to eat at the beach, and got the Mexican box and a green burger. The burger was a house-made patty and was delicious. The box was good but simple: refried beans, salsa, guacamole, on a bed of salad. Big size and very filling. There was a good sized menu, lots more to try next time.

Was there with my dad in May 2022. We both had one of their wraps and were quite disappointed. Not bad but just tasted boring. Not worth the money in my opinion.

Read moreA few quality control issues, as the "buddha box" my sister ordered had more sauce on it than she had previously experienced at this restaurant, and the wrap my mom got was oddly assembled, with all the veggies squished at one end of the wrap. So, room for improvement, but nice otherwise!
They also offer a really cool meal plan service, which would be great for locals!

Stopped here for dinner. Between all of us we tried the white bean burger, the Mexican burger (black bean based) and the jackfruit gyro wrap. All was great but the jackfruit gyro was the star of the show for us. Great balance of seasonings, crunch, saucy goodness, and size.
Read moreI do wish they offered whole grain buns and wraps and possibly included a small side salad with each burger or wrap, but sides were available to add on. Great little spot. Will definitely visit again when in the area. Thank you for the awesome meal.

Loved my meal here! I had the refried black bean wrap and it was good. Loved the banana coffee smoothie and my bf got the strawberry banana smoothie which was possibly the best smoothie I've ever had. Ginger shot was good too!

My wife and I stopped on for a bite to eat Friday night after a day of winery touring. There was a large group (from Gratify next door), and a couple in front of us when we got there. The owner (Darren) seemed run off his feet, and warned us it might be slow. We ordered anyways and the wraps came out what seemed like super fast. The BBQ lentil was good, the carrot ginger dressing with it is fantastic. The spicy chickpea was also very good, with a bright, tangy, spicy salsa verde to go with it.

We were visiting pentincton and looking for a place to eat. We were on our way to the brewery but super close to it we found the angry vegan. Great food! He was almost closing for the day and he still took our order and was super nice. The hamburgers were fantastic and at a great price! Super happy. I'll come back again when in the area.

Good little vegan cafe. Had the bbq lentil wrap - tasty. Husband had the black bean burger (good) and salad - strongly disliked the lime dressing (odd flavour). Nice spot for take away - actual cafe is pretty minimal. Friendly staff but we had to wait forever (45 min) cause someone didn’t show up for their shift. Not a huge deal cause we weren’t in a rush and not really their fault. Liked that it’s 100% vegan!
