Amazing Indonesian food - Edit
I really enjoyed the food to a good price. They serve a great vegan rijsttafel (a dutch version of a menu) of 8 authentic Indonesian dishes including Tofu, Tempeh, vegetables. Great flavours! Run by husband and wife who took over 2006 from the husbands parents who previously been running it since 1996.

Indonesian rice table, 10 tasty dishes. - Edit
Great meal, 10 dishes including fried and plain rice. Tasty and varied. Included tofu satay, jackfruit (I think may have been rendang), vegetables in coconut milk, 2 different tofu dishes and a tempeh dish, green beans, salad with peanut sauce.
Read moreVery enjoyable meal. The downsides being the cost but 30 euros is the usual sort of price for an Indonesian rice table meal. Each portion was not huge, we managed to eat it all bar a little rice and we were full but had no leftovers (I often end up with leftovers).
He didn't bring any crisps. We saw people at the next table with some and assumed they weren't vegan but I see the previous reviewer was given some. He did say he had given us an extra dish (the salad) but when we counted we had only had 10 so perhaps he forgot the crisps.
Also I asked for a glass of tap water with my wine and was refused. This seems to be a common thing in Netherlands though usually they will give it to you if you are buying an alcoholic drink.
Pros: 10 tasty varied dishes!, Didn't wait long for food.
Cons: They didn't bring us any of the crisps, Declined tap water in spite of buying wine, 30 Euro per person (min 2 people).

In red light / tourist area, five mins walk f/ central train station. No outside seating, around 50 seats inside. No reservations, walk-in only. Only dish is rice plate — vegan or non-vegan or mixed. They know what vegan is. Tasty, fresh; good quality. Friendly team.
